I was sure I read this before but it’s been rotting in my want to read so I finally did read and it was meh. Haruto’s feelings for him came out of nowhere, it was so unconvincing to read because how tf you gonna catch feelings for him just by observing him for a few times not even a flashback about how his feelings were developed or a long-time observation on kouta. They also used that “I don’t like guys, but I don’t mind if it’s you” trope lmao. The story relied on basic date stuff and lack of communication so it’s not that special. They’re both the problem tho. On haruto’s part he shoulda just said no to the other girls, like idgaf if you’re kind, be kinder to your partner and give them the reassurance that they need (to a reasonable extent). On kouta’s part, since he has low self-esteem and low self-worth, it’s like he doesn’t allow himself to be upset because there are others “better” than him out there, when in fact he was the one chosen by haruto. It doesn’t seem like a lack of trust on kouta’s part even though that was what was said, he’s just too timid to say anything. Also fyi for people looking for yaoi (as it is tagged here) they do only have sex 1 time and focused more on the couple’s relationship so it would have been better if this was mainly tagged as shounen-ai aside from yaoi.

Honestly I’m not sure if I still have it in me to continue this (stopped at chapter 45) because this story is stressing me the fuck out. For some reason, the events and details during the earlier half of the manhwa were so confusing; stuff like kihoon and woojin looking the same, who was cheating on who for kihoon and suhyeon just because it seemed like suhyeon was the one sleeping around, and so many characters just joined in and so many shit was happening that it was giving me info overload.

Furthermore, everything about woojin is a red flag and that man should literally be in jail for how insane he is (exhibit 1: burning down his grandfather’s grave and the mountain he was buried in; exhibit 2: is capable of murder if given the chance). Their relationship is super toxic, but it seems like haegyung is too blindly in love to be able to tolerate woojin’s craziness. I wanted to keep reading this in order to see how all of the character’s stories were tied up, but the crazy and possessive antics is really giving me a hard time finishing this because even I’m scared of woojin and for haegyung’s life.

But can I just say that even though it’s impossible for them to end up together, I’m thankful that I’ve been fed some haegyung x kihoon crumbs. I would have liked it better if I were to see how a relationship from their dynamic would unfold tbh instead of all this crazy shit. It’s such a shame that woojin is really hot tho that’s literally his only redeeming quality.

Ahhhhh omg hyeonjin is too precious I can’t honestly protect that boy. I don’t hate mujin (yet) so at this point I want them to be a throuple even though I know that’s near impossible cos mujin’s ass too possessive but I really am hoping jaewoo ends up with hyeonjin because they just make me feel all giddy nd shit. Ngl, I really did think jaewoo was going to be a top (short kings can be tops too !!) even though he follows the formula for the classic BL bottom, but looks like the BL universe had different plans for him lmfao.

This one was pretty good

This started out like 19 days with really short comedic chapters then progressing into a more steady plot and I’m in love. They’re all so funny and wild lmfao and I appreciate that 90% of the boys in the manhua are gay af. For a BL manhua, this might be one of the least censored out there with the inclusion of NSFW illustrations. Only rated it a 4 because the translations kinda fluctuate between being good or bad throughout the series.
