For now, the balance is just right, but my expectations for the story and character development are a lot higher now. The magic innovations are a brilliant take on femdom that was creatively applied. Imo this is also some of the best witch representation I’ve come across to date in manhwa. I love all the lore behind the female mages who raise their offspring as a tribe, with their clear ethics and respect for fate. Love seeing wise, bad ass women!!
Also love seeing this blushing, teary-eyed knight who’s so obviously head-over-heels for our mage since childhood. I’m a greedy degenerate so I hope the prince sticks around as a side piece. The jealousy and competition are delicious (▰˘◡˘▰)

Overall a good concept, but the writing feels really immature… the plot is so contrived and at times illogical, making much of the characters’ actions feel inconsequential. The characters themselves felt flat and unrealistic, so the emotional scenes just came off as cringe melodrama. I love revenge stories but this wasn’t it
