the recovery process is already over and if you haven't gotten them back in your lists it's either because they weren't tagged or rated so you won't be getting those mangas back unfortunately (happened to me too)

where'd you get that info?? cause i haven't seen any info about it being over and the all clear saying "if you still haven't gotten it back contact dev's here" last i heard they were on pass 2 and then everyone that was trying to help people keep their heads on got tired of repeating themselves and dealing with people jumping on them accusing them of things and so they walked away.

does not say anywhere on there that they are finished with the fixing. please don't be saying that when it's not true. all that states is the same stuff that's been said over and over again, yes there's a glitch. yes, the devs are working on it. No, we don't have a finish date yet. if you did not mark or rate the mangas sadly they aren't coming back (if you get some consider yourself lucky) and a few other things that have popped up during this whole glitch out. hardware being broken takes a lot longer to fix and pull data from to replace than people think it does. be glad they are trying to pull any data from the old piece of hardware in the first place. they could of just tossed the piece and said "start over folks we're not doing a thing"

Yeah like others said. we might never get them back.

A good rule of thumb for now is if you often comment, you can go through your comments and stuff and find stuff you’ve read and re-add them to your list.

If you make lists, the lists should still be available as well.

the ones they managed to recover were either tagged or rated. even if the process isn't over yet, it's been said that if you haven't tagged or rated them, you won't be getting those back. many say that you have to manually add them back (when at first it was not suggested bc it would hinder the recovery process) so you can deduct the state of the recovery process from that. if you haven't gotten them back, they're pretty much gone and should consider adding them back yourself.

there are people who have tried adding things to their lists and poof it's gone. and this has been in the past week and a half. so i know it's not finished. just because you can deduce something, doesn't mean you should just up and say it's finished and go about your time. the warning about not touching your lists is because of the whole poofing reasons and having people have to resort things and being more frustrated that things keep poofing even though people that deduce things are saying it's over when the devs haven't said it.

I was looking through all comments pages to find any new info and just saw this. I don't want to bring it up again, But I feel it's important for me to comment as it was a misunderstanding created out of what I wrote.

I just want to say, nowhere in my FAQ does it say that they are finished.

If you read my FAQ, this is the Xander whose link I added. I have been talking to him about the site situation. He basically helped create the FAQ by sharing information with me. He knows what's going on here.

ohh, sorry about that! some people left some comments a while back saying that they had stopped receiving updates on their list and that it was over now, so that's why I said so. thanks for clarifying though

just because THOSE people got their lists taken care of doesn't mean the fix is done and over with. the all clear hasn't been given. those of us that are still out and about commenting to those that are still freaking out of the lists are trying to keep people from utter freak outs like before. It doesn't help when people who have all their lists taken care of for one reason or another pared around accounting things that aren't true. it's why i got on you about asking where you got that information from, and that the post you had given me didn't state that things were all clear. it's not your fault, it's those that just because their lists are done they think everyone elses is fine to and they aren't. glitches are still happening

I've added some disclaimers to my list because I've noticed other people spreading some information that could cause issues for other people.
Especially those who are saying lists are 100% safe to edit. "Just because issues aren't happening to some people doesn't mean they're not happening to others" type of thing. I might need to start commenting on people's posts saying, do what you want, but it's still not safe. We warned you.

I wrote this comment ages ago too and forgot about it because I was editing my FAQ lol. Xander and I are just upset that people are just going against our advice in general and to top it off someone just replied to my FAQ basically saying because we're not devs our advice shouldn't really be trusted.

I get it though; almost all information we gave was speculation, so people don't trust us. Even if that speculation turned out to be true.

So we're both just lowk venting sorry. In the past few days, people have kinda been dogging on Xander and I.
This shit has just been pissing me off, not taking it out on you. You meant well, by spreading this information as you saw other people saying the same thing. Everyone is just trying to inform everyone on stuff, especially as we have no official updates. And sometimes, that information just turns out to be incorrect.
