Chapter 20 was crucial for his mother's growth, especially as the alpha mother; when Haruka said, "You finally listened to what I had to say," it was something he needed to say because it validated both the adult and child versions of himself, who made the biggest decision of his life that led him to become the man, father, and husband he is today. He broke the chain regarding the idea of what the social structure of an alpha is supposed to be, do, and think; it is shown that she was forced to learn and adapt to this norm, but it stopped with him the moment he left and refused to continue that cycle of single-mindedness. By doing that, he made a healthier choice, especially regarding his partner and mate, Kosuke, and how he can encourage him to keep sewing, wearing the pink shirt he bought him, along with his parenting style.

They both spent the last five chapters jealous of each other, yet neither one of them is on the same page. My heart broke for Gun-woo because he never hid his feelings, and it was clear from day one that he acted as if they were already together, while Si-hyuk likes to talk about the age gap and Do being "naive" yet couldn't even have the simplest conversation.....and he FINALLY has the nerve to ask "why" which is something he SHOULD HAVE asked ages ago, you complete fucking idiot. If anything he needs to take this moment into a push to do some self reflections; That why at the end proves some self work is needed bcus it's clear he has some underlying issues that he hids behind money and sex.

I'm so glad I decided to reread again. Both "brothers" were obsessed with Kwon, but in different ways. It's clear the original character, Shin, was a disgusting human being from childhood into adulthood. I wasn't expecting this in chapter 39, but the hints suggest the MC's own father is one of the factors of his karma, which answers some of my questions. It seems that many people around Kwon must come from his past life as well, like both Shins. The flashbacks also show that Yooyeon was continuously tortured in many ways throughout his past life. In chapter 47, it shows the process of him becoming an evil spirit wasn't a choice, but another form of torment and his final breaking point. This answers the questions I had from chapters 25 and 29-30, which is that his memories are not correct, leading him to be mad at the wrong person, especially after the confrontation of how angry Yooyeon got when he questioned Kwon about taking Shin's side. My third unanswered question is, if both brothers were two separate people, why did only one get reincarnated, and why was it OC Shin? Does it have something to do with chapter 47? My last two unanswered questions are "we were married" and it is clear both of Yooyeon's and Kwon's "karmas" are due to their endless suffering at the hands of that horrible father and son duo, I'm hoping the flashbacks answer them. My biggest question is, where is Yooyeon's original body, or rather, his grave? In order for him to become an evil spirit, does the spiritual ritual require killing the physical form, or is it like Talisman where there's some gray area?

The lore for Gozu was exactly what I was expecting, yet it still broke my heart; Especially given the many times Gozu had been physically and mentally broke over the course of this story and especially during intimacy when Eve was very intentional and purposefully would go slow, not rush and make love to him and refused any forms or types of actions if Gozu didn't give consent or was using it as an exchange. The one sentence that Gozu says in chapter 126, "When has my own life become precious?" shows how much he has grown. I love how, when you look back as readers, you can slowly start seeing the cracks in him, yet he was completely clueless. We as readers have always been given some form of internal monologue, yet in moments like this, it still feels very much like we're the outsiders looking in. Chapter 126 also did a great job of referencing the answers to the internal questions he began to ask himself in chpts 45, 49, 90, and definitely the latest chapters of 148- 153, which goes hand in hand along with how confused he the "boring" sex was feeling good & the chapter where he was freaking out bcus his body was has a natural orgasm in a very natural way but bcus it wasn't in his" regular sex" way which is full of him being overly hypersexual due to his various amounts of trauma warranted the reaction of when he talks about himself I'm a very derogatory way bcus that was one of his many coping mechanism

The way he had suspicions yet couldn't prove so that was a last piece of confirmation he needed

This story is a lot yet so little because the characters and their emotions are so heavy, but the author has yet to explain or explore their depths, so it seems shallow. You have the MC who broke off the relationship and left first for a promising future due to his talent, which fast-forward led him to a mediocre present. Meanwhile, the ML, who was floating in the wind then, is now living a well-lived and famous life that the MC who dumped him said he would have. Yet, their fast-forwarded reunion shows otherwise, so you have that to take into consideration, plus the "what ifs" of "I didn't think we'd meet again, and especially not in this way." This hints at why the idea of the title "what ifs" can lead you into insanity because I can bet each has had them throughout their reunion, but reality can be deceiving.

The question I have is, if being in desperate need of money was his "driving" point, then he would be power bottoming through those agreed "meetings" bcus his BDSM kink would be getting fulfilled yet to me it seems like a cover-up for him because instead, we're seeing him hate every minute of it due his "needed for money" aka could have been some consent from the jump but definitely condition to "like" it as time when on. While, he continuously runs from the ML every chance he gets. So, for me, his need for money was half the truth, but the real reason was because of the guilt he carried after the ML accident and him falling in love before any of those things transpired and when the ML was a minor at the time.....so if anything that seems where he's relaying on the meetings to drive that feeling out him which of course didn't work for nether one of them and especially then and definitely not now for the ML since he's an adult

Why would they think it was a good idea to keep him in the dark especially giving the fact that he went there solely with the intent to DIE and ALL OF YOU KNEW IT!!! IT WAS FCKED UP ON HIM TO ASK THAT LET ALONE THEM DECIDE TO HONOR IT yet played in his face like everything was sunshines and rainbows. Given the fact that they all know how YW is as a person then what in the world do you think his reaction gonna be bcus it's NOT a "that's life" and just go on living happily with his brother. NOO!! You lucky if he JUST breaks down, cut all contact and become a shut-in for the rest of his life but knowing him he'll 1000% probably go off the deep end or trying something..... just a bunch of stupidness

I'm so proud of him for continuing to stand his ground and to keep defending himself because why is it that the person who was hurt must be the one to fix the relationship with the person who is at fault? I've never understood why those who were harmed, hurt, or traumatized are the ones to be the "bigger" person and are expected to fix, mend, and apologize broken and severed ties, IT'S A BUNCH OF BULLSHIT. His brother deadbeat ass got married and is still living at home with his mom.....well, that was to be expected, given the fact that she enables him and now he's brought another person into his mess of things "done yet never throughout" series aka a thoughtless mama boy with no future nor plans for life.....it's a sicken epidemic.
