Only up to chapter 12, but wow really liking this! Blair seems suspicious. The story is alluding to something, whether that be something he's done to Vanessa because of the gloom that appears on her (the same gloom that appears when the old guy is touching her), or something he is hiding/planning in regards to Vanessa. Anyways Theodore is hot! The lady towards the end of chapter 12 confuses me I don't get why she gives him that look?? Overall I really like how I can feel the sex dripping off Theodore fuck me jesus christ he's so hot. Like always the MC, Vanessa, is timid but what can I expect from a straight manhwa ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
ughh i hatee characters that are made to be so smart and strong, yet somehow completely oblivious to very obvious things in the story. i get it, the entire plot is built on her not knowing he’s her husband. but like brooo. its like watching maomao not realising jinshi is related to the emperor all over again. it actually agitates me so much. i find it so hard to believe she hasn’t thought of the possibility and questioning him more. every chapter is “is this man my husband.” *does or says something pointing that it’s obviously her husband* “no way, this isn’t my husband”
i just want to reach through my damn phone and smack some sense into her. and what the hell is up with the rape scene. he is so perverted and disgusting. look, i understand that being molested and raped is a very real concern for women in places like the army, navy etc. but jesus. its like she’s this strong female character that’s just been shredded down to her sexuality, leaving her with no actual character development.
again, i get it’s all just smut- i get it. im just annoyed at how little depth this character has. she’s been through a lot, she’s tough, but i find it hard to actually connect and feel anything for her.
they just feel bland. you know what im talking about. you read a story and the whole time they just feel like characters on a page- not people who’s emotions you can see and feel.
anyways ive been here since the beginning, im not sure why ive continued reading this for so long.
fr, i feel like there could be so much more to explore about her character but her sociopathic tendencies are just used here and there as the plot needs them to be

Holy shit I’m such a sucker for angst. I’m so happy I pushed through the first 20-30 episodes because this story is so amazing.
I know this might not mean much but I didn’t, and won’t, read the snipers uploaded chapters. I know it’s an illegal site, but I have some morals at least.
