Why do they always fucking give abusive tops sympathetic back stories and happy endings? Half the time it feels like they're just trying to set up an angsty spin off, like they have to make the abuser pityable so you overlook the whole "abuser" thing.
The beginning was interesting but at a certain point it just felt like the author forgot about how it started and basically started writing a different story. Most of the plot points they set up early on were just abandoned, the psychological twinge it had in the beginning left, the mc's backstory and driving motivation just was forgotten, they basically threw out the whore mc premise, side characters just stopped playing a major part until the end, and most crucially, the mc and ml were basically different characters at the end. Not because of character development, but because their personalities changed.
If the author has the balls to follow through with this and not have a bullshit twists or bullshit lovey dovey ending, it could be good. That being said, bl authors never have balls.
Could've been really good but there was just too many weird choices that held it back. And its not that I dislike weird stories it's just things like the suppository was weird and the friend, I liked the friend to an extant,but he was just a little too close to them.

Same here! Usually it disrupts the flow of the main couple but I like them!
Everything about this story is so morally obtuse and perverse, from the eight year old looking bottom to the multiple rapes to the rapists just sort of being accepted by everyone else. The literally only sane character is the one with the long hair and even he chose to ignore the abuse. People may think it's adorable because of the art and some tender moments but it's all a facade distracting from the horrible story.
