mgg doesn't have any official social media accounts or discord servers. trust me the forums are honestly unreliable as fuck, there is an unofficial mgg subreddit estd by the users themselves if you don't already know, but i wouldn't place my bets there either

I've seen some posts regarding about multiple stories that's connected to it and I'm starting to get interested in the murim genre so is there a particular order I should read, and if I were to read it randomly would it work just fine or would it make the series significantly better if I know the other series first?

Mine is misunderstanding plot, especially if the story revolves in it. I absolutely despite poor communication.
Maybe an obvious one but rape that gets ignored or not treated seriously. I also don’t like miscommunication if it’s characters being stupid in a drama manhwa but the comedy ones are usually fun imo it’s like dramatic irony

a dumbass mc, those that think and act like a 6 year old when they’re 20+ (an extra but when those mass translator groups pick up a manhwa and give me those sloppy quality and bad grammar/spelling translations)
mine is rape. or if the story starts to have smut, you best believe the artist starts being a gooner and make the characters fuck every chapter. i lose interest easily cuz the story is 90% fucking and 10% plot atp.

Ex comes back is debatable, think about it like a relationship loyalty test and if you were to be in the ex's perspective, it's like a wish for 1 more chance and a start over.
But shitty ex plot where if I can't have them so does you, it can fucking to to the bin until redemption.
Don't get me started with amnesia plot. Idk why make such dilemma for our character, let them live in peace and kiss.

I'd say, I don't really like the detailed version of Ml's sex life, especially when that is my first impression of him.
no i dont like a virgin x experienced and honestly speaking im a hater of this trope. but that's js my personal preference, some people like / dislike certain tropes and i happen to be a virgin x whore trope hater. it's my personal take, and my pet peeve(since u asked about our pet peeves). ofc, the r*pe/coercion is what i dont like at all, and dont enjoy stories with such types of themes unless it's psychological and written as such with actual thought behind it rather than using js using r*pe as a tactic to move forward the romance plot.
the story i mentioned was "murderer llewellyn's enchanting dinner invitation". amazing story 10/10. crazy angst, misunderstanding and ultimately HE.
similarly, a guilty pleasure of mine are stories with hurt/no comfort or doomed stories. some people hate this trope and the reason they hate it is the reason i like it. it makes you feel miserable. i feel the intensity of love in the doomed story more than i feel it in a HappyEnding story. all my favourite ships are doomed, satosugu, phaidei, shiguang, nicewreck.
please don't recommend me any virgin x experienced story. i js don't like it. i will never be able to like it. i have accepted it. sometimes a trope isn't for you, and no matter how good a story is, you can never digest it. virgin x experienced induces a sense of anxiety in me, like, almost a ptsd (?), idk why. not ptsd, it would be incorrect to say that. but that feeling of sudden shiver down ur spine, the feeling of nausea, erratic breathing, that feeling when you can listen to your heart beat in your ear. it genuinely is very shocking even to me that even if the story is sweet, if it has a person who's experienced paired with a person who's virgin, suddenly i cant digest it. i feel the physical need to get away from my phone. i have tried exposure therapy(?) where i have tried reading green flag stories where main couple just so happens to have a virgin x experienced dynamic. i couldnt do it. visceral reaction. it's like my brain doesn't accept it. almost induces a flight or fight reaction.
i get a very similar reaction when there's CSA in a story. that's why i cant read "boy meets maria" and was ABSOLUTELY miserable while reading "lost in the clouds" and TERRIBLE while watching "banana fish". banana fish wrecked me so bad, SO SO BAD. i cannot ever watch or read it again.

There's a manhwa i reas where they were saying his backstory with his ex lover and sex scenes was like two or more chapters which was not really necessary
Another i where this guy is a natural playboy is not interested in the other character the other character just likes getting on his nerves and he walks into him in a closet having sex which was like just two panels

Rape is absolute no go. Pushover plot + miscommunication is hell. Like it's absolutely frustrating how dumb they became to the point where basic communication on a relationship is neglected and forgotten. If I were to add, I also absolutely hate make-up sex in this situation.
i forgot this one but yes it pmo so bad when they use sex to make up instead of communicating properly, they just ignore the problem and nothing is resolved
