The ML in the story loves a bloodthirsty MMC almost as much as I do. Big "yeah I'd let him kill me, that would be hot as hell" energy and you just have to respect the feral energy radiating off of both these men.
Would love golden retriever energy towards love interest, scary to everyone else (Hounds of Sisyphus is this but darker and dialed up to 11 haha)
She's definitely a victim, but she also tried to play the game of thrones without being equipped for it.
If you read this more as political intrigue/manuevering than a romance (which is where it shines more IMO) Rashta was doomed from the start when she decided to start making plays without knowing the game ╮(￣▽￣)╭
