I would REALLY like this to stay as a wholesome family dynamic but the way they keep emphasizing some of the childrens bodies makes me so concerned. judging from his frantic face, I just know he had no idea Little A's on that farm
I have two running theories:
1. Little A in the past accidentally spilled some substance on Fluffy that started turning him into the humanoid he is now. I'm fairly convinced Fluffy was originally a dog so he's the only animal transition to human in the farm. That's why he thought he hurt Fluffy and his uncle was angry at him. An alternative would be he spilled it on the uncle and that's why he's been slowly turning into animal himself but that wouldn't fit the time frame as much.
2. Little A was actually a animal on the farm maybe a sheep because he's seen holding a sheep/lamb in the flashback. Also his eyes are pretty sheepish as well. He played a lot with the dog and accidentally got splashed with something that turned him entirely human and this probable got a little on Fluffy as well but not enough to turn him. He was sent away from the farm so the scientists wouldn't work on him, and that's why he was kept home schooled and would have regular doctor visits asking if anything felt weird.

And since little Little A had a photo that picture him holding a sheep, Mr. A, and his mom(?) [Ch. 12] then maybe Little A was turned to be a human some times ago prior the flashback memories. Could be so.
Yup that sheep could be one of his friends on the farm that he was still attached to before. Also I love unreliable narrators so I can't help but think everytime Little A thinks of the past and shows himself as a child maybe it was actually as a sheep and he doesn't remember so he just imagines himself as always being a child.
That make sense. Little A also didn't remember it well and unsure of what happen after the incidence. So maybe his memories was cut off or erased or sealed. That will explain why Little A feel at home at the farm but people in society think of him as weirdo.
