I’m really so glad that the father-son bonding is still happening. Cuz halfway through I was getting so depressed because he genuinely was just missing and longing for his dad. And I love how none of their relationships here feel forced. And not a single boring chapter.

If you like a period drama/melo drama like the BBC shows (+more light heartedness and coming of age theme) I would recommend this.

Everyone shitting on ML but personally I like all the characters. They were set to be engaged as children (and seems like they are still kids/maybe young adults). Not everyone grow up with big interests in romance and you can see from their first few exchanges he was soo nervous and might’ve had a crush on her. But due to FL’s patients with him he got too comfortable and thought it was okay to not focus on ‘love’. He obviously is just learning to really know the depth of his own feelings and tries to show it too late BUT we are really learning how far he will go for the sake of love.

FL on the other hand is over being heartbroken, and is numb. She likes romantics stories and observe other people’s love life and envies it. She also doesn’t fully know what love means to her on top of avoiding feeling her own emotions. She’s in denial about his feelings along with her own, she’s developed major avoided attachment issues. She’s played the role of just a fiancé who expected some romance, yes, but I don’t think she fully understood love in it of itself. And is now learning that there is life outside of being a fiancé or being married for women.

Because of the realism and the story, I am assuming that a part of it is showing that young crush doesn’t exactly equal love. He is learning that he loves her and she is learning what love actually means.

Claude is also a different story. He probably has some tragic background when he doesn’t think he’s good enough for his fiancé.. and he wishes she find someone better and so I’m sure that there is another big story with them. And then there’s also the princess who is obviously still young and immature and has a lot on her shoulder. She is not marrying for love, doesn’t also know love and romance. She is a marrying a man 15 years older than her for her country. ML being her friend recognizes this. There’s a big story there. And it also explores a lot of different characters and lives along with their love lives.

Anyways, that kind of just my point of view everybody’s shitting the story about being like some type of fake white feminism type of story. But this isn’t a feminist story. This is a romance story with feminist themes. I think we will be exploring a lot more character development from all the characters all around. Currently no one is evil, everybody literally is just coming of age and growing up.

Dih aside! This is genuinely so stressful and so well written. Making assumptions about the future, making assumption and trying to control how the other person feel, actually just straight up telling the other person how to feel certain things etc. thinking that it’s better not to start a relationship, especially if it ends badly. Putting someone on a pedestal when they just see you as an equal is also rooted in heavy avoid attachment issues and insecurity. Denying your own feelings and in the process hurting the other person, but also not being so straightforward with them because you actually don’t dislike them. But making them carry the burden and responsibility for a relationship because you’re a coward is kinda crazy. I feel so irritated cause I’ve been that person before (though I wouldn’t say it as extremely) and it haunt me so badly that I still think about the person that I’ve hurt all because I was trying to protect myself and had I thought it was protecting them. I’ve also been on the inverse where somebody tried to put me on a pedestal and let me tell you, it feels so empty because the other person doesn’t actually see you for you. This is insane. I think I’m gonna have to drop this from my own sanity, but this is really good story.

He’s such an idiot lmaooo. Also I STILL cannot believe how this story got a shit ass audience somehow on here. This is by far one of the more wholesome stories out there and has literally no controversies about these characters.They are just such normal people with personalities, with quirks and some flaws, but it’s nothing evil. I’m literally so confused about the begging for a crazy meltdown,chasing arch???? it’s already slightly chasing now no??? and even if there wasn’t one, not every story needs one, personally I don’t think this needs a chasing arch. The pursuing arc is really good. I enjoyed the story so much but I freaking hate the audience on here, it’s like they just don’t like the seme and try to find any little thing to deem him as toxic and irredeemable or something. There’s a 1000 other stories you can put that energy into-and you don’t have grasp at straws for it.

Hate this story. Dropped it real early after the first run away. Why is the MC written as some complicated BPD trauma filled fucked up person and ML is a one dimensional idiot?? Go to Lucky no personality idiot. The people that like this story are saying how realistic this shit is but the very fact that one is hyper clump of complicated and one is zero dimensional is extra unrealistic. Realistically, the MC would be giving the ML major trauma. Someone like the ML doesn’t actually exist unless he was lobotomized hello???? this entire story was created to be complicated and unrealistic at this point. Just because stories have a lot of dimension doesn’t mean it’s a good story. Just because it deals with mental health and non black-and-white character doesn’t make it a good story. This is just really weird and quite frankly really gross. It’s a cuck fantasy and glorify a delusional idea that it’s OK to hurt other people if you’re hurting because if they really love you, they’ll love you no matter how much you hurt them and that all is forgiven.

I think everyone’s making the MC more of an asshole than he actually is. I feel like we truly only know that the MC is being an ass because he’s cocky and in denial is because we see the story from his perspective. Even from the beginning we know that he was kinda always attracted to ML BUT his ego got in the way. He never really lead on the ML, the ML was lowkey making assumption, and despite his ego, he was gonna literally go with it if that ML took a step towards it. But then got ghosted lol. So he got bitter and said mean things out of a grudge. I don’t think he is a mean person, I just think he’s spiteful of his perspective on this situation.

From the ML’s perspective, I don’t really think he even really sees him as a mean person, just someone that says mean things sometimes (which is totally normal everyone does it. Some people just do it out of more spite). For the ML, this is his first love who HE set a as an f-boy if that make sense. ML began the nature of their relationship, that a love relationship wasn’t possible. MC’s shenanigans inside his head isn’t being seen by the ML. What he sees is someone who could never possibly be in love with him. So he hides and run from his feelings. And MC being an idiot, who doesn’t even understand his own feeling almost kind of mirror is it and replicate what the ML is expecting out of him.

The way people are acting clueless as to why Chase is clueless is beyond me lol. This man has one body count where he was high asf when he lost his v-card and don’t even remember it, so he’s essentially until recently virgin. He doesn’t actually know anything about omegas and alpha’s, and the in-between. Has mental sexual trauma about a dog. Is pathetically in love and wants to trust his man. He would genuinely cry and beg on his knees for Josh to be honest. He has trust issues yes, but he also is genuinely innocent because he’s so inexperienced with processing his emotions and having a relationship with someone.

Firstly running away over this is over dramatic tbh. However this does shine light into how you can be gay AND homophobic. Especially with the regression (not really) of Jaehyuk who only acted right so he could date Garam. And it lowkey gags at the ‘I’m only gay for you’ overused trope in BLs. Aside from that this story has always been toxic, from how they met, how J went about when realizing his feelings (which mind you started as I can’t get hard except for with you), plotted and manipulated G by providing a house to stay close proximity and slowly moving into that place, etc. Garam sure is being annoying at times and not communicating but I fear his reaction makes sense.
