Dih aside! This is genuinely so stressful and so well written. Making assumptions about the future, making assumption and trying to control how the other person feel, actually just straight up telling the other person how to feel certain things etc. thinking that it’s better not to start a relationship, especially if it ends badly. Putting someone on a pedestal when they just see you as an equal is also rooted in heavy avoid attachment issues and insecurity. Denying your own feelings and in the process hurting the other person, but also not being so straightforward with them because you actually don’t dislike them. But making them carry the burden and responsibility for a relationship because you’re a coward is kinda crazy. I feel so irritated cause I’ve been that person before (though I wouldn’t say it as extremely) and it haunt me so badly that I still think about the person that I’ve hurt all because I was trying to protect myself and had I thought it was protecting them. I’ve also been on the inverse where somebody tried to put me on a pedestal and let me tell you, it feels so empty because the other person doesn’t actually see you for you. This is insane. I think I’m gonna have to drop this from my own sanity, but this is really good story.

I’m literally so confused about the begging for a crazy meltdown,chasing arch???? it’s already slightly chasing now no??? and even if there wasn’t one, not every story needs one, personally I don’t think this needs a chasing arch. The pursuing arc is really good. I enjoyed the story so much but I freaking hate the audience on here, it’s like they just don’t like the seme and try to find any little thing to deem him as toxic and irredeemable or something. There’s a 1000 other stories you can put that energy into-and you don’t have grasp at straws for it.

I think everyone’s making the MC more of an asshole than he actually is. I feel like we truly only know that the MC is being an ass because he’s cocky and in denial is because we see the story from his perspective. Even from the beginning we know that he was kinda always attracted to ML BUT his ego got in the way. He never really lead on the ML, the ML was lowkey making assumption, and despite his ego, he was gonna literally go with it if that ML took a step towards it. But then got ghosted lol. So he got bitter and said mean things out of a grudge. I don’t think he is a mean person, I just think he’s spiteful of his perspective on this situation.
From the ML’s perspective, I don’t really think he even really sees him as a mean person, just someone that says mean things sometimes (which is totally normal everyone does it. Some people just do it out of more spite). For the ML, this is his first love who HE set a as an f-boy if that make sense. ML began the nature of their relationship, that a love relationship wasn’t possible. MC’s shenanigans inside his head isn’t being seen by the ML. What he sees is someone who could never possibly be in love with him. So he hides and run from his feelings. And MC being an idiot, who doesn’t even understand his own feeling almost kind of mirror is it and replicate what the ML is expecting out of him.

The way people are acting clueless as to why Chase is clueless is beyond me lol. This man has one body count where he was high asf when he lost his v-card and don’t even remember it, so he’s essentially until recently virgin. He doesn’t actually know anything about omegas and alpha’s, and the in-between. Has mental sexual trauma about a dog. Is pathetically in love and wants to trust his man. He would genuinely cry and beg on his knees for Josh to be honest. He has trust issues yes, but he also is genuinely innocent because he’s so inexperienced with processing his emotions and having a relationship with someone.

Holy shit I left to marinate this for a year and they’re literally gone nowhere. They’re just going in circles. The mother is not dead? ML and MC are still in a situationship?? The plot line is just adding the same political drama was just different people again and again.
The story feels so slow and bland tbh? I think they’re cute though ig. Also remind me why the ML is a red flag again. One thing for sure, Guwon’s character has always operated by some type of set function/rule system. His function never changes and it has nothing to do with morality (which he doesn’t seem to understand the concept of). It feels like he was ‘made’ specifically to run a hideout. He feels like a monster in a Frankenstein, kind of sense. He also seems to be running on baby emotions (as if he’s new to this and that and doesn’t understand clearly), What we do know is that Teach is an unreliable narrator. We see Guwon through his lens but his memories are evidently extremely spotty. And it’s so odd that Guwon’s so adamant about not killing Teach’s dad when he could care less about killing anyone in FRONT of teach. I think out of all the things Teach might just be more out of his mind then we think. Like he gets into trances a couple of times and once in a trance he tried to stab Guwon unintentionally. HE might’ve killed his own dad tbh. Idk overall it feels strangely like there’s on a loop of an experiment?? there’s eerie hints that what we’re seeing currently isn’t the big plot.
I really like the story plot it’s pretty interesting but the characters are lacking. It’s one of those stories that feels like the world setting and plot are well thought out and then characters are here as an aftermath to move the story forward. Idk if that makes sense but the characters do not feel well fleshed out, it’s like they have little going on in their personality aside from the baseline?? The characters seem to switch their initial personalities too often. One example is the king acting arrogant and confident to the ML but then later switching to be super apologetic to him even though the story unfolds that they’ve always known each other and have tried to plan to win the MCS heart for a while.. although it could have be flatter compared to some other stories so not too bad. Don’t take this as mean, not liking the story. I actually really like it. I just wish the characters had a little bit more depth.
This is definitely for a niche audience because for the life of me I don’t understand what attract people to each other with such a big age gap. Obviously it exists and they’re both adults but as a 23 year old I tweak thinking of getting with anyone over 30 lmfao. The mindset and life experiences are miles apart but I’m sure people have their own fantasy. The 16 year age gap would mean by the time he’s 50 thaf man will be 34? 65 and 49? 64 and 80! Let me start by saying that everything Im sharing comes from spending many years on this site, observing patterns across multiple accounts, and reading user reports. Im not the dev, mod, or admin but Ive had experience with systems which is why I can answer your “whys” and “what ifs”
THIS IS THE SITUATION

⠀⠀⠀*site is online again but very buggy: missing lists, random logouts, slow pages, no notifications, etc
⠀⠀⠀*this is when the system started gradually restoring lists
WHY IS THE SITE SO BUGGY
- Mgo uses separate parts for different things. One to SAVE your manga data (aka database/the memory), another one to DISPLAY your saved Manga data (aka UI/what you see), and another one for your browser/session data (aka cookies, login state, etc/this also connects the database and ui). When everything is working properly, these three systems stay in sync (eg. when you save a manga, it will show up in your list right away)
The system will communicate with Database, like hey this is the user that logged in go tell UI the things they should display. So Database will tell UI, like hey based on what's given to me, these are the saved data that belongs to this user, these are what you should display. HOWEVER, because of the gradual restoring of lists (which puts a heavy load on the site), the System, UI, and Database are not able to communicate properly, so theyre not in sync. This is why we’re encountering the issues
I DON'T GET NOTIFICATIONS
- since the System, UI, and Database are not in sync, Mgo cant correctly link your acc to your saved mangas so notifs dont show up/update properly. This is temporary and should be fixed when the system is in sync again
WHY DO I KEEP GETTING LOGGED OUT
- Mgo keeps track of your login/session info. But if this isnt tracked properly, Mgo may log you out randomly/repeatedly
WHERE DID MY LIST GO

- YES. Do note that while your list is coming back, you might notice some things are off:

I ADDED NEW MANGAS TO MY EMPTY LIST, WILL IT OVERWRITE THE OLD ONE
- if you ADD NEW mangas while the site is restoring, your new list will stay. And your original list will be added back on top of it once its fully restored. But if you RE-ADD EXISTING mangas, it will update the original date of when the manga was added, tags, and summaries/little notes you originally had for it. its usually best to wait and let the restoration finish before making lots of changes
WHY DO OTHERS HAVE THEIR MANGAS BACK ALREADY, WHILE MINE IS STILL MISSING
- think of this like we're reading through a giant BOOK of everyone’s manga list, arranged by the exact time each manga was added (aka timestamps). Each timestamp is like a page in the book, and we read them from the oldest timestamps to the newest. Right now, we are reading timestamps from Feb 2022 (as of writing this post), so any timestamp dated later than Feb 2022 wont appear YET
If your lists are still completely EMPTY, there are 2 possible reasons:
One is that its about “activity”, not account age. So even if you joined in 2016, but you didnt add any manga until 2023, your list wont appear until the system reaches the timestamps for 2023. The second reason is, since the system is very busy right now, it sometimes hits a blurry page and has to skip to keep moving. This doesnt mean your data is gone. It just means the system needs to go back for a second run once the "main reading" is done
HOW SOON WILL THEY COMEBACK / WHEN IS THE RESTORATION EXPECTED TO FINISH
- how soon your lists fully comes back depends on how far along we are in the “book” and how many timestamps we still need to read. If yours already started to appear again then thats a good sign. it means your account is already in the queue and the rest should continue to come back (gradually, not all at once)
If theres another run, expect anywhere from a few extra hours to about one extra day. A full second pass could push it to Feb 4–5, but a partial cleanup run would likely finish around Feb 2–3.

IMPORTANT: WHEN TO CONTACT SUPPORT
- PLEASE WAIT. Do not email the devs yet. The system needs to make several runs to load everyone's data correctly. Most of the current issues should fix themselves after the full restoration process is done. Give it at least 2 weeks from now.
If after everything finishes and youre still seeing clear errors in your marked mangas, report them to [email protected]
If possible, keep a small log of your observations and what you did, such as:
⠀⠀⠀*whether you re-added, edited, or deleted mangas during restoration
⠀⠀⠀*any repeated issues (random logouts, missing notifs, errors, etc.)
⠀⠀⠀*the other specific errors you noticed
Simply put, keep a log of WHAT YOU DID/OBSERVED and WHEN (use GMT or if in your local time, specify your timezone). The more specific your report is, the easier it is for the devs to trace what went wrong. It helps them replicate your actions so they can actually find and fix the problem

Love the story so far. It’s also getting close to when I read the novels and decided to stick to the manga versions because it’s more light hearted lol. I’m a sucker for fantasy, war, and historical stories and the romance not being the sole focus and being a slow burn is nice. And I don’t understand why everyone’s getting annoyed at the slow burn when that was the entire tone right from the beginning till now. It’s one of the few things that are very straightforward about this story.
See this is lowkey why people need to be careful with things like fortune telling and prophecies. Because it can easily turn into a self fulfilling prophecy. Humans are so prone to it to and that’s why doctors don’t like to diagnosed children until a certain age or a certain level of worsening/progression on if they have adhd, autism, bipolar disorders, etc because it can easily become an internalized identity
