I've kind of gotten bored of yaoi manga at the moment does anybody have any good yaoi novel recs ? I've already read QWFOD and I liked it so anything like that or anything that's both fantasy and BL ?
'Who touched my tail!' is a pretty good (in my opinion) chinese Bl novel similar to QWFOD i think (haven't read it yet but know the jist). It's about this 9 tailed fox that transmigrates into different worlds with a system and the lover follows them
Another one I've read is called 'Spirit Hotel' and i found that really really funny. The MC is human and enters this Hotel that has supernatural beings as staff. I really loved the jokes and interactions between characters :D

alsar is a nice bl novel it’s fantasy and a foursome
It’s really hard to care about the implications when the premise is built on the fact MC doesn’t really make any choices. I like the guy don’t get me wrong but this all started because he just didn’t want to be a hero everything that has transpired is happening to him there are very few choices he’s making independently he just reacts to things as they occur. Which is fine for slice of life but when we are jumping from battle to battle with intricately drawn character fights as an audience there has to be something at stake but there isn’t. It’s not like he’s particularly connected to the kingdom, he doesn’t like fighting, he’s not really bothered about pursuing justice and all of those things make us like him it just means the plot has to do better world building to capitalise off of that. It’s like this is trying to be that time i got reincarnated as a slime or re:monster but isn’t actually committing
