Sorry, guys! During system maintenance, some functions like comment are unavailable.

It’s really hard to care about the implications when the premise is built on the fact MC doesn’t really make any choices. I like the guy don’t get me wrong but this all started because he just didn’t want to be a hero everything that has transpired is happening to him there are very few choices he’s making independently he just reacts to things as they occur. Which is fine for slice of life but when we are jumping from battle to battle with intricately drawn character fights as an audience there has to be something at stake but there isn’t. It’s not like he’s particularly connected to the kingdom, he doesn’t like fighting, he’s not really bothered about pursuing justice and all of those things make us like him it just means the plot has to do better world building to capitalise off of that. It’s like this is trying to be that time i got reincarnated as a slime or re:monster but isn’t actually committing

Listen. I’m not part of the calling every woman in a webtoon/manga an annoying bitch club, but oh my god someone please off birang. I will put a request in to the guild so i never have to see her ass ever again. I hate the character archetype to begin with idk how they managed to make it worse.

anaisbby add manga to list 2023 - 2024 Faves

Levelling Up With Skills takes your typical weak to strong story of a budding character with mountains of potential but an unfortunate situation and the chance to do things over and stuffs it with character and themes of morality, trust, self acceptance and hatred all while full fleshing out not only the motives of the main character but asking who we are fighting and what we are truly fighting for.
