There better be some side stories b/c this ending was not it. I want Dan to have a life of his own that doesn’t require full emotional and financial dependence on that man.

So they were all in the police station with a lawyer and a detective, and didn’t put the loan sharks on blast for threatening the siblings and trying force them to take on debt they weren’t legally obligated to take on?!! That made no sense to me. I would be snitching so hard!
Did the art just suddenly get bad? They have those weird chicken heads like Campus Trap.

I kept getting super frustrated with the MC, until I remember he’s someone who lives in his head more that out loud in reality. It seems, at first, like he doesn’t trust the people around him. But, the further this story progresses, it seems more like he doesn’t trust himself. The people who manage to get close to him all adore him, and he’s too in his own head to see it as confirmation of how special he is. Hope it doesn’t take him too long to figure out how interesting and talented he really is.
The chemistry between these two is really beautiful b/c of the deep compassion they have for each other. Very unexpected kindred spirits. I really didn’t like the art style at first, but now I can’t imagine these characters in a different style. It fits their vibe and enhances the sense of something ‘otherworldly’ happening. All of the characters are so well-rounded, with their own individual complexities. So, even if you disagree with choices they make, it makes sense that they would make those particular choices. I also love that there’s a slow burn that leans more toward sensuality than smut for the sake of smut. Nothing rushed. Nothing forced.The pacing is perfect.
