I think when the ML is that sincere, its rare to find. During their second meeting He talked to her honestly without hiding his feelings or trying to act superior. Any women would appreciate that. She had her doubts at first, understandable, but with his feeling and the way he speaks to her probably makes her feel safe given her upbringing and also feel understood and comfortable to be heard. Sometimes life just works like that.
