Cool, it's omega vers, we know this work differently there, just explain it why exactly he can't get abortion, is it law, is it biology, is it ultra Christian hospital he went to or simply there's admin stuff and the nearest appoontment can be made in a month? Like, dear author, don't be lazy pos and give us some kind of worlbuilding that we the Reader can get something tonunderstand what why and where.

It's sort of both actually haha. Grayson doesn't process or understand emotions the same way as others on account of his dominant genes that impact his brain basically. However there is also the whole he is a Miller child who can have anything and has been given a lot easily because his parents want to keep him busy. And it's not that he has never been told no, but that he's never actually been explained why he shouldn't do something bad and his lack of emotional understanding has just made that worse. When he poisoned his omega father, he was just beaten and not really explained anything. When he bullied (tried to "help") his brother Chase, he was either beaten or just never explained why tormenting his brother wasn't actually helpful. So yeah Grayson isn't a mastermind of shit because he runs on instinct and has never really faced hardship or really understood why he shouldn't make his life difficult by messing with other people. But he definitely can be cruel and manipulative on account that he doesn't understand why someone would be hurt by his actions.

At the most basic level yes. His omega father was not all that present with his kids because of the aforementioned poisoning (their alpha father separated them to protect his mate). His alpha father basically fried his brain self-harming by not releasing his pheromones, making him numb to anything but his mate. So Grayson's alpha father wasn't all that attached to his children and he disciplined them harshly, but did not know how to really approach them because he couldn't understand them at an emotional or psychological level. Which was made worse bc Grayson also couldn't understand emotions or normal human behavior, much like his other siblings who also struggle to live normal lives because their mentalities are not normal. If I remember correctly, one of Grayson's sisters basically runs a cult of omegas and is wanted by the police but obviously she's protected by her father because they care about each other as family, but they aren't normal about it enough to not hurt each other either.

I think the parents only really protected Bliss. Chase was separated from his siblings through his acting work, but he was still raised alongside his siblings and his siblings still have easy access to Chase as adults. On the other hand, Bliss was sent away earlier to make sure he wasn't hurt and has less contact with his siblings.

Grayson was barely 10 yr old ig. Grayson used to be a very curious child, his curiosity was more because unable to understand things. Koi due to some accident lost his sense of smell and taste. Ash used to be over concerned abt that fact in front of the children. Like he always taste the food first n things like tht. So grayson and stacy got curious why Ash do that as they never explained koi condition to children. They wanted to check if he actually can't taste anything. So he put detergent in his food when Ash wasn't there to check if he actually can't taste anything.
Grayson and Stacy couldn't understand anything when koi was struggling but Nathaniel was also there who able to understand what's goin on but he didn't do anything to stop grayson either. Ash came and saved koi and choked Grayson almost to death. Koi begged to spare that child life. Wht amused me that he punished Grayson only but didn't say anything to Nathaniel or Stacy.
Kieth, Ashley and Chase were all manifested late so they were basically normal and weren't affected by the Pheromones. They were absolutely normal with full understanding of emotions and sane decision makin capabilities.
Nathaniel was early manifested. So he was emotionless but was able to understand everything
Grayson and stacy were born dom Alphas that's why there system is completely broken and they have no sense of anything. They are just a hollow body in simple terms
I don't know, this is just the epitome of mediocre, the plot pote but not in n interesting way, things just happen one after another, the main characters are such boring people, barely characters, to be fair, flat and almost with no personalities, side characters are not even really characters, just robotic tools used for exposition (why show anything, when a side character can bluntly ask about it and explain everything). The writing and dialogue is serviceable, because it is, but just that.
The art is nice compared to a sea of a webtoon slop, but even art is just... flat.

I liked the premise a lot, mythical creatures among humans? So cool. ML being a disappointment, because he took after his dad's mythology instead of expected mom's? So cool. The mythical mom being the embodiment of the creature and a total fuck up as a human? Give me her while story, I'll eat it up.
The rest? The execution of this is flatter than that one squirrel who met a SUV on flat road on the flat Earth.

And the characters drawing to, is not bad bad it just lack facial expressions, every emotion on their face look the same to me. That was 2 biggest problems ( important too) for this manhwa that lead it to failure.

The issue with slice of life stories is that without any stakes, conflicts or personal journeys there is nowhere for the characters to evolve to.
At the beginning the conflict was for the newcomer to be accepted, the child to be named, the couple to get together. There was a conflict (will the other guy be gay enough), will the armourer rat adjust to the country side, even if the lost dad will mess around. There were some stakes.
Thus very moment? It's a cute story, but they got together, everybody around them pretend to not know, don't know or are happy for them and accepting and the child is still nameless and a charcterless ( given how long ago Ho moved in, she should be learning to walk and talk, she still looks like an oversized beanie baby). We're 3 seasons in and they didn't even talk about potential names.
The main characters barely have personalities, they seems unafected by their experience (Ho was in the army, he saw shit, he knows stuff and he doesn't even show it in his life, not even good ribbing about always folding or ironing his clothing perfectly), Haebom is just there, his whole personality is the greenest flag that ever greened. He has no flaws (and no real character too).
This maybe the greenest story with amazing art, but it does feel like it run too long. The issue is not it's slow, the issue is the story doesn't seem to go anywhere, has not actual plot or theme or even premise, only happenstances told in chronological order.
i will kindly disagree with you, true the baby doesn't "act and has a realistic hight (i believe she's aroud 1?)" but the slow and conflict-less that runs a bit slow is just what some of us want/like and need... there are a lot of stoies with a lot of conflict where the characters never "stop" and communication between the pair is basically non existent.. and I enjoy some of them... but this story is its own little warm jem .

The thing about slice-of-life is that it imitates the average life experience and that it is not dramatic. It's about finding beauty in the small moments and fun in 'boring' everyday life together. I believe that the lack of dramatic stakes is exactly what most readers of this manhwa enjoy.
Seeing as you're finding it difficult to stay interested, maybe it's just not the genre for you. Personally, I didn't quite vibe with this kind of story until I was older and more jaded about life so it's possible it's just not something you relate to right now. There's nothing wrong with coming back to it later or deciding it just not for you but, I feel it does the story a disservice by saying there's no plot. The plot is literally about building a life together day-by-day and that's a lot harder in practice than it looks.
It's not about realistic baby, it's about progression of said baby. Also, you clearly don't understand that in stories "conflict" isn't a negative thing and it's not about lack of communication between characters, it's a thing that progresses the characters and makes them grow. This manhwa is as flat as flathearhers believe the Earth is.
Yeah, but that makes for boring story. The characters are stagnating, they end at the very same place they started and nothing changes.
It's not about drama, it's about the fact if the story is only about 'beautiful moments' thise moments are lost in the sea of exactly same moments. There is nothing to counterbalance those moments.
How much more beautiful would they be if ie Ho was so much into army culture with never ending drills and perfection that his conflict was to learn how to let go and find those beautiful moments and slice of life experiences. This is why this manhwa is boring. There is nowhere for characters to grow.
And no, there is no plot here, plot propels the characters to change, this story is just sideshow of thing the characters do and what happens to them. Those things don't have any impact on them. Like whole season of Haebom's dad- he shows up, Haebom has a day of thinking, it changes nothing. Haebom is exactly the same as he was before and whole second season could have been about Ho's dad instead and it would change nothing. His conflict could have been- as a boyfriend he doesn't know what to do with the baby, but meeting his dad makes him change and he decides to be the best dad, then the conflict is that Ho is reciting to name the baby for whatever reason and Haebom is on his as as newly awaken dad. These are thing that are still realistic sli e of life, can be easily resolved with adult communicating, aren't obstacles that make them break up and yet make them better and their relationship more interesting. Right now they float from happenstance to happenstance and in the end nothing happens and nothing changes.
The manhwa is cute, it's a nice palate cleanse after all the ridiculous sadistic slop, but this is not a story and the quality of it nowhere near the previous work of the author.
I'm sorry but a story isn't just about plot. This story works quite well just letting us follow the lives of two grown men who already had the defining experiences of their lives, the ones who shaped their personalities. They just want to find a way to settle down peacefully, hopefully with a loved one, and the story is just that.
And I have to disagree on their having no personality o character growth, either. Kwon a walking green flag? Yes. But he's not perfect. Did you forget he was introduced as having a terrible personality? Not to mention, he is terribly insecure over relationships. Sure, he's mad in love with Ho, but we are clearly seeing him working of his flaws. To say the encounter with his dad didn't change anything is a big understatement: this guy entered the story with abandonment issues and grew up to accept that his father didn't leave him and his mom behind for no reason. Now he's scared of being an issue to Ho, and we are in the middle of addressing that issue. How do you see no progress?
Yeah, they met, they got together, and whatever happens they are a couple pretty much from the beginning, but they are adjusting to life together and that's a story too

I do like both characters and maybe Ho isn't the best characterization of a soldier but I think it might be cause it's a little modern and not a "cliché" of them (I know people like that with that profession) and I'm not so sure about how much he went through as a soldier (mean I don't think he's on the "action" risking his life in the middle of the battle)
About Haebom's flawless...I think there are right there the problem is that those are like "normal" flawless and not the typical BL ones (a man child acting possessive/"cute" jealous or the other extreme we shouldn't even mention)
Their characteristics are there but yeah naybe they're both just too calm personalities ...personally I love that kind of people and every time I met someone like that I just hope he/she finds someone similar to be partners or even friends
I think this story falls under the slice of life subgenre "iyashikei" calm, low-stake, daily-life style storytelling
There's no rush for sudden growth or unexpected turns and drama and yet it tells it's own story without falling stale
It's meant to be paced and chill, for some a breath of fresh air in the rush of life, I'd recommend other fast paced, plot heavy stories if that's to your liking
This is probably THE BEST description of what/how this story is and what to expect from it. I’m pretty sure a looooot of us read fucked up and or fast paced and or action packed and or drama packed and or toxic heavy stories. So, this story is a breath of fresh air for us. Hmm interesting but stories like this are supposed to be told like the way it is rn. I think by "plot", you meant the way climax is built on intense moments or inciting incidents and so on. But plots are of different types and genre. I'm sure you must've already have an idea about this. We're so accustomed to such type of plots that revolve around character building and expositions that stories like this kinda feel bland. But as a reader (and a writer), I love this story because it makes us see through the lens of ordinary people and their ordinary lives. I'm also writing a story based on my mom's countryside life with her friends in the 70s-80s and how they drifted apart without any conflict but with changing times and lifestyle. Our sunny days inspires me a lot.
and that`s why i like it, it`s a change fro other stories that i`ve been reading and it cute and warm ans slow everyday... and in my point of view is has plot and a good flow for the story... not a "this happens and then this and then that..." like pasting a lot of events and not having a break for the characters just enjoyng each other presence and a "normal day"... not that those stories are bad but they are diferent

But a few days ago I finished "nameless flower" and I KNOW it's not slice of life but even when I don't think the story is bad itself I found it really slow and at some point I was about to drop since it's the same over and over or there're little situation that took forever and could have been solved easily and in less chapters
Here I feel like they may be calm and (yes, thank GOD!) the "greenest" flag but we get to know little by little about their life and some of villagers too
from Studio Ghibli I learned there's no need of a great conflict dramatic situation or powerful super evil villain for a good story
The story is great. Character development, it has actual plot that makes sense, nice pacing, good writing... it's really refreshing to have a story that's actually has well matured storytelling.
The art tho... I would really want to know what the hell was the artist's and/or their editor thought process on this one, because whatever happened stripped the artist if everything that made their art great.
At the very beginning the art is very light, colors muted and people are on the realistic side. It really fits the slice of life, more realistic and mature story But then around chapter 10 artist stopped developing that style and changed lanes into the generic manga/webtoon style.
And it's painful bumpy ride up till the end. I don't begrudge the artist's right to change, but this should be done in a sketchbook, not on a live organism that is weekly webtoon. That kind of change should take place between projects. This one looks like the artist was figuring out stylistic rules anew with every face they drew which end up with wild inconsistencies in design and at some point I wasn't even sure if the characters are even still the same people.
Only now I realise the artist is still active and does comics- except their style is so generic (even if they are better artist than good 95% of manhwa pencilers out there) that it fades into sea of webtoon art slop. It's nice to look at, but just so boring and uninspired.
I only hope it was only artist's personal decision, not pressure from the publisher.

If through illegal way, alpha would probably live his whole life without knowing anything. Meanwhile, a miscarriage due to fucking is not only more painful and dangerous to his body but would mean that the alpha would discover he is pregnant and that he unknowingly killed the baby coz he was horny, so of course it would be bad, really bad.

It's one of those things that is constantly a plot point in those stories... and it's whatever in real life? You can't even really detect a pregnancy until 2-3 weeks and I doubt anyone stops having sex just after having it once a month, because they can "kill a baby".

Also, had you have an early miscarriage, at first few weeks? You don't even notice it 90% of time, because it feels like irregular period at most. In a healthy woman, it's literally nothing physically.

This story is written in a very miserable way, I don't expect two 20 years old to be the epitome of being put together, but this here is just 'no communication porn' trope taken to the. Your comment might even be interesting if there was an ounce of world building that would sustain it, but we get absolutely nothing. We just get infuriating NPCs, who don't have a thought in their brains, which is shocking from this writer, on how not put together this story is.
