Ok, now that things are progressing in such twisted ways, one chapter per week feels like a tease, i need the whole story asap !
So maybe imma let this marinate, after much consideration ~
It'll be hard since i've been eagerly anticipating each chapter upon release since the beginning, but i'm sure it's going to be worth it, & imma enjoy it more that way ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
Counting on you Uno baby to not cave under the rotten apple's demands (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
Most of us knew this was gonna turn out the way it did and, personally, i'm still hyped by the story cause there's more to it than the assault scene (that i don't condone but, saw it coming from miles away—the author chose to highlight some gritty aspects that totally fit the mob world in their story so it doesn't come as much of a surprise, contrary to showcasing it in mundane slice-of-life stories/ if you've never read or watched crime movies, documentaries about the underworld, you maybe should give it a try...it's a wild ugly ride)
Yet, i gotta disagree with people saying that Uno didn't care, that he was into that SM play, or that it didn't faze him that much, of course it did ! He sure as hell didn't vomit for the pleasure of it, and the belt beating was wild, even for him....even more because it's him, he surely felt humiliated on top of the pain. So yes, this event must have affected him, which is to be expected ! But, as seen in the prologue, he'll bounce back, cause he is Uno bae after all !
The thing is there was a big misapprehension between the two: by putting up with Enzo's antics all this time, Uno believed that would have helped him hook up with Enzo at some point, however on the contrary of how he viewed things, in Enzo's perspective : seeing Uno accept the manhandling all along seemed like an open invitation to him to let loose and to do worse things ! So yeah, none of them is not to blame, but the SA still took a toll on Uno, so the downplaying of Uno's feelings and suffering in this situation by some people is kinda weird....
Anyway, i'm more curious than ever to see how the hell they're gonna end up falling in love with each other after this big fiasco (cause for the ones misunderstanding it, they're not, they're not even genuily caring for each other tbh, they're just mutually attracted to each other at the moment), & i'm just cheering for Uno to take his revenge on Enzo along the way èwé ~
(You don't mistreat baby Uno and expect to come out of it unscathed/ hope Enzo to be both the one to fall in love first and the one who falls harder

Laughing at the downvotes after Uno himself said that he felt nothing but "pain" in the new chapter LOL
Enzo's face going dark each time he was trying to repress his urges 'n' impulses would never not be funny to me xDD
I saw this coming but I still felt bad and uncomfortable about the v*miting and violent spanking (×﹏×) So I guess it's even more shocking and painful to read for the ones who were not expecting it....
But really, none of them was considering romantically the other one from the very beginning and untill now— Uno obsessing about nothing more than bedding Enzo and Enzo being interested in Uno in a twisted special plaything fantasy kind of way, so despite the playfulness they both showcased and the "Catch-me-or-I'll-catch-you" game they were playing, the type of relationship they have was screaming Toxic ! They got sooo much tension going on and chemistry was boiling up but it was all s*xual, no romance displayed ~
So when people complain about the fact that they can be labelled walking red flags without it leading to ass*ult and expect them to care for each other somehow......it just doesn't add up— why would they be mindful of each other when none of them has to ! They still haven't reached the point where they're falling in love to not want to harm the other yet, they are enemies trying to overpower each other, be it in business or in bed !
It was already written black on white that one of them was gonna get caught in the web they were both spinning, and that it was not going to be pleasant at all....
Then again, back to the first statement about Enzo's expressions, but he gazed at Uno bestially like he was a prey and not a potential lover more than once (beside all the other psycho things he has done) for us not to realiaze that, at any given opportunity, he was soooo gonna just disregard his feelings and devour him !!
So yeah, I'm definitely more hyped than ever to see where things are going from now on (and looking forward Uno making Enzo miserable next !)

you said this beautifully, more people have such shallow close minded thoughts on the situation without actually understanding the characters. and before anyone comes at me yes you can acknowledge that the rape happened and that it was an uncomfortable thing to read and hold the character accountable while still enjoying the story. People are to used to "I raped you, now fall in love with me" tropes that have been going on, this story isn't gonna be that cuz neither of the characters have even once since the first chapter considered loving the other. From what the author has stated this is probably gonna be a slow burn story which complex character development
ENZO IS SUCH A WACKO !! The butt spanking is WILD !!! Omg Uno must have felt SO HUMILIATED (aside from the pain) poor baby ╥﹏╥
But people getting shocked that Enzo actually forced Adrian are a little bit funny, i mean...didn't we all know that HE IS A BLOODY RED DAMN FLAG ?? (If not black flag even !!)
So yeah, Uno gotta just fasten his seatbelt and hold on tight cause from the moment he got involved with Enzo he knew this was gonna be one hell of a ride !
Hope Uno keeps toying with Enzo tho, make him fall hard for him and emotionally vulnerable, for payback ! Cause ain't no way you're gonna mess with Uno baby ant not expect consequences èwé !!

Next chapt, do you guys think that :
1/ Uno will run away to save his ass (literally xD)
2/ Uno will get forced to bottom as he kept on pressing Enzo for them to smash, so he is getting his wish fulfilled at last/just not the way he intended lol (plus, for the author not to make fans -who have been asking for this- wait longer i guess ?)
3/ Something else is going to happen that will prevent them from hooking up altogether? (For Uno's utmost relief xP )
I'm leaning toward the first option since Enzo reminisced about the scene with his grandpa when he mentioned that Uno was already in his grasp, so maybe, to emphasize the allegory and the line from earlier chapters said to him by his gramp —"A bird that can fly won't just stay put in your hands"—, Uno will likely flee ! Enzo will then realize that he wasn't careful enough and that the bird he thought he had caught could still fly.....also, to entertain longer the chase and their little cat & mouse game.
Anyway, in the prologue, it didn't seem like they had s*x yet, so that explanation makes more sense—especially considering Uno has always been going on about how much of an exclusive top he was so he must be taken aback and still processing the fact that sleeping with Enzo= bottoming (i still dk how he didn't see it coming a mile off tho, like he himself said that Enzo had some sadistic tendencies, plus he was constantly manhandled and pinned down by him soooo idk abt you Uno but how can you be this clueless LOL !!) But let me talk abt a topic that's been brought up in the comments regarding consent and Uno being tanked up !
It's true that the situation is looking quite grey and i too, personally, would have preferred for them to get to the steamy part of the story in some kinda other context, however i won't condemn any of them for getting down to business in this particular situation, for two reasons :
*First, yeah, Uno is drugged and although the drug per se is an aphrodisiac, it may still impair the awareness and ability to make fully informed decisions. But, in this case, Uno is a trained agent -and a honeypot one at that, so definitely not his first rodeo-, plus he himself monologued abt how he could withstand that "cheap aphrodisiac" at some point, which not only shows that he could think clearly enough to determine what kind of substance was used on him, but also decide if he wanted to engage in what came next. In fact, he was the one to initiate things, since -headache aside- he still very much felt the heightened arousal and pleasuring effects of the drug, then contemplated that he could hold himself back just fine but decided he didn't want to since the other person was Lorenzo ! (who wasn't coercive one bit with him btw, and on the contrary very patient -slaps aside lul- and against it at some point, so not to say that he could have been the one to set up things in his favor or manipulate Uno into something he didn't ask for) ! So yeah, i'd say that no training can make someone entirely invulnerable to such threats but Uno is still doing as best as one can in that kinda tricky situation.
*Comes the 2nd point which is, even if it's a twilight zone, a blurry situation, and the consent might be hard to determine or not be considered 100% valid in these circumstances, not only both characters are bordering on being red/black flags (i mean spy & mob duo, what to be or not to be expected atp), and yes this doesn't excuse that or justify it, but more importantly remember that this is Fiction !! ( yeah no, irl we wouldn't romanticize a secret agent or a mafioso lol, so really ??), a reminder to keep things in perspective, so honestly who effing cares !
As long as i saw both of them want it and expect it at some point on the previous chapters i'm fully convinced they would have ended up on that bed that night with or without the spiked drink so let's just enjoy the next chapter without all the huffs and puffs ~ (≧∀≦)

Things are still tangled up between the two main characters so I couldn't care less about side couples at the moment ! Also I'd much prefer to feast my eyes on the gorgeous beefy Haewon than twinkie Taeha, otherwise I would have chosen a story with one as the mc....For once that we get an alpha bottom, let us enjoy it ugh !
