Hello guys, I posted last time if you were able to retrieve your lost files after what happened with mgg, sadly hadn't gotten them back but they did advise me to make a Google sheet or excel. I was wondering if you guys have a format or how do you add it on your sheets, I'm not really familiar with it so I might need a bit of help.

Make an anilist account. Easy to use, can track everything and you don’t have to worry about losing your lists again

Rebuilding Your Lists:
1. Use your previous (old) notifications to add to your reading lists. (This has been tested and works to start receiving notices again.)
2. If you have any bookmarks -- re-add them to your lists.
3. Use any previous comments (topics) you've left on stories here to help your lists.
4. Use your history (clock icon) to add to your lists. (If you see nothing, click the "Show All" link. It may show something.)
5. If you have a favorite author, find a story written by them and start adding the comics listed under their name.
6. If you follow someone, look through their lists and start adding them to your lists from there.
7. If you have a favorite unofficial scan group -- use their website to add to your list. If they are defunct then use Baka Manga or another avenue to see what series, they worked on to add to your lists.
8. Below was created by another user to help save your lists. I use a spreadsheet, so I haven't tested this.

i know that we can't recover our lists anymore but how were you guys able to find yours? because i have few floating around bookmarked chapter and everything but they aren't on any lists
I just add them back as I go. Some were in lists I created, so I was able to find them there and add them. I also check recent updates and see if ones I was reading are there. But there are still probably over 100 missing ones T-T
I have an excel file that I created more than 10 years ago and where I write every manga I've ever read.
I go through my old comments since i posted many of them and i go through lists made by other people. So i did find some of them.
Otherwise i just lurked in latest updates or i go through diffrent genres when i have time ╮(￣▽￣)╭
I had more than 2K in mists and i got around 900 back so i made my pace with it
Started new once , and this time i am adding them in to a doc file as i add them here in same category , this way i can sort them out better like color coded completed/non completed , extra notes for them etc.
I'm also doing that and it's such a shame because i don't even remember the names i have over 100+ missing too,

you search it like that:
tag you want + NOT + tag you don't want, for example " yaoi NOT shota " you can even use multiple tags like " yaoi NOT shota NOT bara NOT incest "
its not working omg i typed "YAOI NOT SHOTA NOT FURRY" it's still showing in the results
try using the tags in lowercase, only the NOT in uppercase
so like "yaoi NOT shota NOT furry"
tried but it's still showing do i have to click the tags/filters on the side of the results?
thats weird...its working here (⊙…⊙ ) usually those on the sides are for the ones you want to see , so i dont think you can filter the ones you don't want through there

You can use a minus sign before tags you don’t want. So like; -furry -whatever
That typically works for most sites that have a tag based sorting system.
However, works can easily be mistagged or be missing tags, so it won’t work 100% of the time anyways.
