As much as Minyoung's action were bad, from his POV, the way his mind works, it was right. I think it was also right for him to help Cheol by telling his father the truth and letting him face his demons. THAT BEING SAID, I THINK HE SHOULD HAVE APOLOGISED IMMEDIATELY, then they should have talked it out so that Cheol never tries to go back and even let Cheol study abroad, away from his abusive family.

    Scarletfox July 12, 2026 8:32 am

WTF, yeah in the make-bieleave world of Minyoung's mind, sure he thinks he is justified. But anyone can bieleave they are doing the best for someone but CONSENT is the key to anything being right.

Im sorry but "letting" him face his demons?? More like locking him in a room with them. You can't just make decisions for someone else and then apoligise after the fact. Cheol is clearly dependant on Minyoung becuase of his trauma. Situation is so messed up T T

    Cap July 13, 2026 7:32 pm

I agree, but it still was the push cheol needed, he was 21 and still being beaten, after the very much traumatic moment of his father learning the truth, he actually distanced himself from them, so yeah, very much needed
I don't agree with how minyoung just upped and left him, that was the perfect moment for cheol to actually learn to break from his father's grasp and actually be at least
Also I acknowledge that minyoung is a red flag, I just think the action was what was needed and the only right thing he did

    Cap July 13, 2026 8:14 pm

He didn't fully get out of his father's grasp since he still tried to live like a "normal person" as per his father's standards and also get him money
Reasons I believe it was right
    1. Cheol got out of the abusive household
    2. Cheol learned to rely on his uncle a little bit
Reasons it would have worked if the Minyoung was mentally stable and a green flag
    1. They would have addressed the trauma head on and even seek counselling, further breaking the grip cheol;s father has on him
    2. Since his uncle viewed him as a son, he would be ready to help them in anyway, especially financially like scholarships or even some allowance money or a job
    3. Cheol would eventually get to chase his passion, since he would probably still take a hiatus from school, with a positive environment he would go back and complete his course or actually look for something he has passion for.
    4. Cheol would finally learn to accept himself as a gay man and would actually stop avoiding all his problems.

For a second there I thought I was about to see unseeable actions

Am I the only one who didn't understand how the hallucinations and awakening powers relate like do everytime they use their power they get a nightmarish hallucination?

    Rain May 5, 2026 1:39 pm

My understanding was that espers are capable of using a higher percentage of their brain than normal people, but it taxes the body (hence the need for guides.) The brains primary base function for everyone is self-preservation so it starts throwing out hallucinations to make you stop overusing it.
It's a little pseudoscience to explain an esper reality.

I hate it when there's no communication, just communicate

Ong, like just use words. GOSH

I'm in chapter 59 and I genuinely don't like how everyone treats Eunyung. They're behaving like he's the villain and focusing on his flaws instead of their own, especially Junhwa*.

160 and I thought they were finally understanding each other but I love how they had started supporting each other

I don't know why y'all are saying the jerking part was rushed or smth, they were separated and feared the other might have been hurt, so yeah, I will definitely kiss my hubby like there's no tomorrow if I find them alive in a scenario they might have been dead.

Cap September 29, 2025 12:52 pm

I mean this with zero hate but I feel like Soohae's love story was a bit rushed, regardless, nice story. I wish low tide in twilight would cover everyone's story like this

Cap September 24, 2025 12:04 pm

Everyone deserves a side story; haewol, taeju's parents and euiyong

Cap September 24, 2025 9:29 am

I feel like the author doesn't know what to do but to draw smut. MC's mom and friend died- just cried and had sex. Tom, I know I can treat you better than he can

Cap September 24, 2025 9:19 am

Side couple really wasn't necessary, it's a roller coaster of emotions. Dojun is pretty sensitive and moves too fast, jinyoung loves dojun but wants to take things slow and he's just trying his best and then do-hwa who just loves his brother a little too much. I really wanted to see the baby (︶︿︶)=凸
