As much as Minyoung's action were bad, from his POV, the way his mind works, it was right. I think it was also right for him to help Cheol by telling his father the truth and letting him face his demons. THAT BEING SAID, I THINK HE SHOULD HAVE APOLOGISED IMMEDIATELY, then they should have talked it out so that Cheol never tries to go back and even let Cheol study abroad, away from his abusive family.
