Man the fact that you like some yaoi stories gives Instagram all the rights to spam you with all and every yaoi manga that is popular. I found out there.
And now I'll say it: I see why Minghwa stretched all those chapters filled with nothing but conflict, misunderstanding, and abuse. She didn't really have anything else going for this story, that's it that's what she wanted to write about, a stupidly muscular dude, toxic, abusive, aggressive, that will thrash anyone and everyone for no reason, AND the blanket that will receive all that without blinking.
If you boil down the story, there was really no story, and the ending proves it. It doesn't even feel cathartic.
Apparently grandma was kept alive for plot reasons, as soon as she was not needed to push Dan down, or make Pickerson hold back at least a little, that's when she was killed.
It's crap, and despite I was not closely following it, I'm glad it's over.

Author really pulled her worst repertoire, the worst tropes, the shittiest plots, and mashed them together.
I stopped following this shit a long time ago, but it keeps showing in MG's front page and curiosity wins after 10 chapters or so have piled up... and I keep finding the same crap....
Fucking curiosity... Mingwa had to almost killed Dan for Mr Toxic Fuckerson stopped being 1 gram less shitty, sure, good FUCKING plot.

Yana should have ended Kuroshitsuji a while ago. There have been many stories that, despite interesting, are fillers and a bit bothersome.
I feel there have been elements that got stretched way too much that didn't have to go with the story, and now we have these... chapters that look more like extras. Directness, action, plot moving. That's what we need now.
When stories get dragged this much generally the ending is not good, generally they don't know how to finish said story.
This author is adicted to conflict. It's getting so tiresome that she doesn't continue with the actual plot and have been diverting to a hundred sub-plots. AND she has abused the "kidnapping" plot way too much.
This last scene with Kaius and Koichi didn't even feel like "thrilling" or "exciting", I keep saying that the author is throwing sex scenes as placebos.
Now my thoughts are, or author has an editor that's pushing her to extend the story to these crapy extents, OR she's so insecure about actually moving on with the story and marry them because she wouldn't know what to do after it.
Both sucks, though, but the first one is easily fixed. With the second one we might be trapped in this senseless labyrinth for a long time.

You can clearly see that the author either didn't want to do a 2nd part and was pressured, or she didn't give it enough thought. She doesn't know what to do with the characters, that's why she's so focused in the other dude.
Bad plot tbh.

Again Minghwa shows zero ability to handle this story. When I thought she, finally, was building the pace, she takes a shortcut, and mister fucker shows regression by not asking, not taking anything in consideration, and not even saying AT LEAST a "is it ok if we do it for the match?" THE BARE MINIMUM.
I really wanted the "no sex" "no abusive seme taking control" phase lasted longer, but I guess it was too much to ask.
I'll drop this for another 8 months to see where it goes by then.
The point was the fight.... and the stubbornness.... right.....
Maaaaaaan the story drifted way too much, how did we end up with a dude confessing and being frustrated at the seme???? Wasn't this PRECISELY to show him he's not as mature and he does love deeply??? Why... *rubs forehead* You know, as a writer myself I get it, sometimes the stories get out of hand and characters guide the plot to somewhere you weren't expecting... but to be honest this was ridiculous, this seems like the author never used the brakes, not even once. She never stopped and contemplated "is this going the right direction?"
I can't even enjoy their reconciliation, it feels empty and pointless.

That's why I don't like to go into fandoms, I sometimes feel they don't like original content, they just want to be right about what they want.
But damn!!! That many flashbacks??? So much focus in this new fucker just to turn him down? That was so pointless and unnecessary.
I'm seriously glad it's over.
Season 2 and 3 had a 9 months difference, for obvious reasons, just to be attacked the first chapter with ANOTHER full chapter flashback just to say "I was gay since then".
That's just lousy writing at it's peak.
Why make omegaverse AU if you're not giving me babies!!! Save your alpha/beta stories for original characters, not AUs, it's pointless in AUs!!!!
