He was always gonna move on anyway because what are you doing moping around your 3 month relationship for 2 years...ig that's his character development going soul searching after a 3 month relationship. A guy of privilege returning to his normal life after stupidly chasing an ex gang members...I don't think that a very hard one to write.
The only disappointment is how short this chapter is. I'm glad to see them smiling and happy but it's clear that the Doyak really wanted to be done with it. It's too bad not that I really blame her.
