I'm fine with placeholders as long as they are marked as such. I don't like clucking on what I think is a new chapter only to find that it's not.
Anyways, I don't know how to feel about this. Lina obviously has been manipulated but she's also just terrible. I would never be able to consider killing someone even if I was convinced they weren't a real person. All the people in this 'novel' behave like real people, and I wouldn't be able to get past that. Like, she was also just crappy even before she had demon baby whispering to her.
Why is bro so upset about the possibility of her killing someone??? They have killed quite a few people on this journey while this is the first person she has been shown killing. If just the fact that she killed that human trash makes him think that she could be a danger to Pell, then by that logic his entire group is dangerous to him and way more than she would be. Pell would also technically be a danger to himself XD
Is this good? I'm weary of the romance tag.
After reading 40 chapters, I can say I've seen no romance in particular, nor have I indentified someone who is "definitely the female lead" (just from my general experience of reading romance for ages lol). The romance tag may be because this is tagged shoujo, and that could be because of the gentler approach to the genre and with its art style (when compared to other typical action series, you know what I mean. This feels more like a mix between the two genres).
I can def see this series utilising romance in the future, but for now it's not really a thing. Female characters aren't treated like all of them would get crushes on the MC, and he gets surrounder fairly evenly with characters of both genders, so there's not too big of a fear of a harem starting.
This is ofc just my åersonal opinion, feel free to take it as you wish ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
XD I never expect them to address how they draw these people, and especially not by having Cloud crossdress.
