Seungho is starting to catch feelings for Nakyum but he isn't sure Nakyum is feeling the same based on Nakyum's words. He is trying to distance himself from those feelings for fear of rejection. Seungho isn't stable so I would expect his actions and decisions to mimic that.
You seem awfully emotional for a story you DON'T have to read. I am not going to defend my post or waste time explaining my opinion but what I will say is you want sunny, mushy, rosy love story then find another genre cause you ain't ready.
So happy to see them. They are dealing with their issues in a healthy way and I hope they realize their mistakes and learn from them.
