she was isolated all of her life and is practically in a whole different country but she’s not exactly “dumb”. she can read and she asks a lot of questions and she observes a lot as well. i like that it took her several days to get adjusted and i like that she didn’t fall for him immediately (although i wouldn’t say that she’s “in love” with him rn, more like interested).

also, did you guys forget that she’s also lying to him to use him? she needs the ml so she can locate her father and retrieve her grandfather’s remains. she’s listening to her teacher’s last words: how she should be wary of the wolf because he won’t hesitate to go after her either. she knows the ml will do whatever it takes to find her father so she’s using him to get what she wants as well. and to do that, she needs to stay by his side. i can agree that she’s weak because she is physically weak but homegirl is a lot stronger than you all are mentally.

i’m only on ch 4 so maybe i’m being nitpicky but i find it strange how the “male villain” who executes the mc and her family can somehow be “saved” and “tamed” if she’s nice to him and eventually become the ml but the “female villain” who helped get the mc’s family executed is a manipulative, conniving cunt who needs to be chased out. like is he not just as bad as the cousin is? oh but only the woman is truly “evil”. again, i’m only on ch 4 but it’s a minor observation. also slightly spoiled myself by reading the comments but wdym the cousin slept with the brother??
