I'm reading and up to 40 ish chapters and I'm really scared their going to go the pseudo-incest route with Edwin and Beelze. I really want them to stay brother-adopted sister. I also really want the Love interest to be Ismail. But every hint towards the two of them (Edward and Beelze) is making me scared. Past manhwas have traumatized me for life lol
Ryder goes by they/them pronouns, and so does Miria. It is that serious bc everyone is suppised to be Mori's "mother". The charm of this manhwa is that aliens don't have genders or biological sex, so they don't understand gender norms or gender roles like humans have. The message for what the author has in mind is that the aliens don't have gender roles, and therefore any alien can be Mori's mom.
Incest between the empress and the second prince. They literally kiss like mouth to mouth. The second prince also declares he only loves his mom. Two wackos. GOD THIS IS SO HORRIBLE TO READ. ML acts like a 5 year old child (even when they get intimate), FL clearly states that his mind is regressed. The nanny is also really weird, like emotionally incestuous. She calls ML her son but is also weirdly inlove with him. Like yandere style, murdering every potential love interest and shit. When FL finally catches her and ML rejects the nanny, the nanny goes batshit crazy and strips off her shirt just a bit to show here breasts. She specifically does this to encourage him to breastfeed off of her. Yeah..
If you clicked on this, don't read this. It's your typical "MC is a non-chalant bad bitch who gets kicked out from the hero squad because they are all so idiotic. Later they regret kicking him out and he is living his best life ever!" That's literally it. I will say, it is unique with how they handle the demon lord and stuff, but seriously it's so cliche. Love interest is the "psycho bitch who gets so angry when others try to take away her love from her" type, Ex lover is literally gang-raped after they kick MC out, leader hero is a loser who "trusts too much", and the other two characters are genuinely so bland I barely remember what little significance they had.
It's revenge slop. I was genuinely snoring second chapter.
They basically just fight over her at first. Like a custody battle, but then they have a truce to finally get evidence of the evils that the empress consort has done, and they are legit so rivals to lovers coded. It's more entertaining to think they enter a romantic relationship than actually reading this slop lol
I just think there was no explanation behind Yuma and no proper resolve for the war thing. I love the characters, their growth, and their dynamics, however, the main plot is kind of all over the place. I wish there were more chapters so that the manhwa was slower paced. And less smut scenes, absolutely loved them, but more scenes could have been given to lore and growth.
Criticism 1: Where did Yuma come from?? I know the obvious answer is South Korea, Earth, but it still doesn't explain his backstory. He briefly mentions it when he talks to the Goddess again, but we aren't given more context. We know (as of right now) that he doesn't have family, friends, or anyone who would care if he got transmigrated (which is a really redundant excuse writers use). I wish there was more nuance to it I guess. Like I want to see Yuma actually grieve his actual previous life.
Criticism 2: Why did the Goddess do all of that?? Yuma, in the story, is revealed to be all of the "outsiders" from previous times. The Goddess simply erases his memories from his previous trasmigrations when he gets in a new body. The only reason why in Sachel he remembers is because he went into a contract with Nine (a demon), which severed his connection to the Goddess, meaning he is less affected by her manipulation and can recall living as Sachel. We NEVER got this answered in the story. Not only did it make me feel unsatisfied, it made me even more confused! I get that the Goddess was simply a character to move the plot along but she's practically nonexistent and you forget about her 90% of ths time.
Criticism 3: The fact that they never properly resolved the "almost going into war with humans" thing?? They just kind of skip over it, the new king is too busy to declare war, the humans are too scared to fight demons, but you guys didn't try and solve it politically? I just find it hard that the LITERAL Demon King would have a bunch of freetime sparring and having sex with Yuma and not literally trying to come up with ways to resolve the conflict with the humans? And even if he wasn't concerned with the human kingdom, he would still not have time to be spending time with Yuma. He was a fucking kingdom to run! And they just got their food situation solved.
But, those are only my main gripes with this story.
Killing Stalking was made to make fun of toxic BL's, this is not a BL. The "Love Interest" is straight. He's only keeping MC around for free sex and entertainment. I highly recommend this as a psychological horror! They touch up on heavy things like generational trauma, murder, rape/sa, homophobia, grooming, and so on. Go into the story knowing that this is not a romance, but one of the best psychological horrors.
ngl it doesn't feel like it's made to make fun of toxic BLs at all. putting aside that it's not made as a BL, the tropes within the BL at the time this was made don't align with this as much as it should to reach that conclusion, but i see how that might play out. either way, i agree w this being a good psychological horror. tho it's depressing knowing ppl don't treat it as its respective genre n criticize it otherwise

Edwin is the main love interest. This was a really unique manhwa but I draw the line at pseudo incest. And don't you dare say "But they aren't-" no. They called each other family a dozen times before, have the same father figure, Josh calls them both his older siblings and they were really close to adopting Beelze. I'm dropping ts
Except Edwin has always been against her adoption since he has feelings for her. He’s also the reason they went back in time right so he could save her
