For some reason everything about this story pisses me offâŚthe art is godly but the faces and expressions are derpy at the same time, theyâre supposedly bonded but feel like less than strangers, like theyâre being forced to get along, even in their moments of chemistry, theyâre like blocks of ice. The manager is so indecisive yet he knows what he wants, there is an arrogance to his apathy which I really dislikeâŚlike I think this story had potential to be one of the greats if both main characters had a different personality. Like the Seme has carried his unrequited feelings for so long that his feelings are way too intense for this level of interaction or relationship and the managerâs feelings are too shallow for what the story claims he feelsâŚoverall I just think this story is about the author trying to write smut while giving it a random storyline and itâs a shame because I see the vision but it is too shallow to really move me or get me invested. Like even this first sex sceneâŚwhat is this timing?! What the fuck was that dialogue progression?? Why are they so annoying till the end??
Like imagine if their first kiss was really intense, maybe full of anger and resentment from Jaegyeom but turning into longing and thatâs how the manager realised how much he was liked by that boy since all those years agoâŚlike show donât TELL. This story has been blah blah blah only, but it should be showing us. Too much dialogue and unnecessary scenesâŚwe have seen more chemistry with that actor and manager than with our lead.
We needed a damn confession, a heart wrenching angst filled one, a passionate kiss, TENSION, longing!! Before this sex scene happened. So it could be the payoff we deserved.
And what we got was âur an omega, join this competition, no, join the olympics in, no, do this, no, sign this contract and have sex with meâ ughâŚ
Also these two speak 2 different languages and have no common ground. Itâs really frustrating! I feel sad.
Might be an unpopular opinion but yeah thatâs my feeling
And weâre gonna end up him getting pregnant and resigning and going away to raise a child and meeting him later or something.
No theyâre cutting out all the wholesome scenes!!! The scene of Taehee almost collapsing with anxiety when Heukje tells him that Jaegyeom found out he was dreamingâŚand when Taehee goes to meet everyone he dotes and checks on all of them one by one before giving this orderâŚ;_;
I love the art but it doesnât compare to the novel one bit. It sterilises it especially Taehee since heâs such a complex and deep character with too many layers and feelingly
Would REALLY implore everyone to read the novel, itâs one of my favourite pieces of literature and the angst is soul crushing
I really like this novel and everything but even so after I read the novel I did not reassaally like the way their romance was developed after this pointâŚlike it didnât feel as cathartic as I had expected maybe or just the fact that transition from this Hyung and Dongsaeng dynamics wasnât the best execution like we see Sayongâs feelings from a young age but for J, it felt like he fell for him because the plot called for it. I donât know how to explain it but even their first kiss was so random and misplaced in the story that I was like this isnât the placeâŚorâŚtimeâŚso it all felt disjointed from then on. But itâs fine. They address this conundrum J faces of being romantically attracted or even accepting Sayong THAT wayâŚitâs rough but I hope to read it again from where I leftâŚI keep getting the ick and dropping it for some reason from that point onâŚ
No no he is supposed to be younger but I wish they were older than their actual ages if that makes sense. Like 17 and 18, or wish they were older. Like he could've saved someone the same age as him and they wouldve still had a strong connection, but it'd be more like a friendship with a peer rather than someone you saved
Yes!! But even that could be achieved if executed properlyâŚthe age gap isnât the issue more like but the fact that it is the reason J always saw him as his actual brother he never had and then suddenly he kissed him and got over it like the author didnât execute it..with age gaps if there is significant time and distance between when they knew each other to their grown up age it usually is okay BUT itâs this particular dynamic shift I didnât quite likeâŚit felt too disjointed or hurried. Maybe the reveal happened too soonâŚJ shouldâve really fallen for Sayong more before he found it out so it didnât change a thing for him, but it seems from this point he begins to love him BECAUSE he found out heâs the same person..or something
Yeah, I totally agree you with you! While reading this chapter I was honestly confused because I thought they kissed before he found out they were the same person cause'its been a while since I read the novel. Would've been better if J started crushing on him b4 he found out and then had to struggle with the complex feelings after the fact. Like I know he struggled a little bit but definitely would have been more impactful if the relationship started first.

This is way WAY BETTER than Dash
nah
You gotta read the novel first before judging Dash. The manhwa do not do the novel justice
Where can I find the novel
It might be but I find both characters quite insufferable especially the manager
lmao, why would you even expect the whole chap novel illustrated into manhwa. illustteating one manhwa already costs like 1+week. it takes time.
