Finished the novel and couple days ago, this is such a fluffy story. There is a lot of communication issues and false assumptions, but it mostly boils down to the MC just being really socially inept. The ML is a whole green flag forest, and honestly if you are inclined read the novel instead of or in addition to because so much nuance is cut out here.

The novel is so much better, though ML doesn't suffer nearly enough.

Only a dozen or so chapters and I already YEARN for a chasing arc painful for ML. Kinda feels like he already likes MC, and just isn't emotionally actualized.
