Why are Secret Relationship K‑BL live‑action fans so annoying on Twitter now that a Thai remake’s happening?? Let’s be honest, their version was just mid, same as most K‑BL adaptations anyway. Only ones that actually slayed were Semantic Error and Love for Love’s Sake.
Wish they’d just shut up already, acting like K‑BL is flawless and way above everything else, trashing Thai BL like it’s worse… hello?? Thai BL has SO many actual top‑tier gems, unlike K‑BL . Thai bl doesn’t deserve all that hate, way more variety, and studios really put real effort into it, not cheap low‑quality messes. Companies like Domundi, Be On Cloud set the standard high.
Why’d this even get an anime again?? Fr don’t get the hype at all Honestly I’d be way more into it if the main pair actually had chemistry y’know black‑haired + blond like all those clips I see everywhere instead of this boring zero‑spark duo. There are so many way better stories that deserved it first! Like 11th School Trip, Necromancer’s Survival Guide, I Don’t Want This Reincarnation, Love History Caused by Willful Negligence, Love Games… and loads more man. They skipped all the good stuff for this? Really??
I really like when people say what on their mind and how everyone has the freedom of speech but I don't think we are reading the same thing......
I really can't believe you'd put this with Love History Caused by Willful Negligence that had absolutely no new plot or character development or anything just a dumb bottom in love with a psycho / grapist / abuser while on the other hand this is just phenomenal/emotional and even talks about things ANYONE can live throug...... I read it and it started as a piece of shit and ended as 2 pieces of shit.....
Sometimes something might not be something your interest in, but that doesn’t mean other people aren’t interested in it.
I like One Room TA for how relatable and silly the characters are while they work to overcome their issues that are common in real life. The main character, Jinhyung’s struggles to accept himself and find his own happiness after a childhood full of emotional abuse, is very appealing to read. Jinhyung’s attitude towards himself and other people noticeably changes as he grows as a person, as he deconstructs the toxic ideals his father instilled in him.
I also think it’s sweet how Uyun is the catalyst for a lot of that change! To be loved is to be changed!
Based on the series you picked I would guess you’re looking for something with a more serious/dramatic tone, so this might not be for you! However, it doesn’t change that it has plenty of good qualities!
I was skeptical first, because comedies are usually so bottom tier with no thought. This not only made me laugh, but cry, because I was able to get invested with the the characters. There is some beautiful writing on self-acceptance and acceptance built with a healthy relationship that can support you.
It's okay if this isn't your thing, but clearly this story has spoken to a lot of people.
Hyunjae and Yoojin shippers will say anything to justify their delusions. Clear once and for all: NOT‑BL ≠ CAN’T HAVE REAL GAY REP. absolutely they can! But huge difference between intentional rep vs vague vibes used just as queerbait for marketing and fandom growth and no confirmation from authors which just show its just queerbait.
Real rep in non‑BL is written so clearly you almost can’t call it friendship. Either romance/attraction is shown openly… or if subtle, THE AUTHOR CONFIRMS IT.
Perfect example: Asoiaf, in the past people were worried characters were being retconned gay but nope. GRRM confirm it years ago that they are gay. Books don’t spell it out fully only cause no POV chapters, so some book readers still read friendship… but we accept it as rep because AUTHOR BACKS IT UP. That’s my standard: respect “implied” queerness only when author confirms it, shows they care about rep, not just playing “maybe‑maybe‑not” to get attention without committing to please their homophobic fans. Leave it hanging forever? Means it was always just friendship… bait for engagement and cash.
Also once again GRRM grew up in way more conservative times than The S‑Classes That I Raised author. His reply to a fan asking
about his choice of including so many gay
characters in Game of Thrones: “Well I noticed there were gay people in the world.” Even back then he acknowledged and more progressive and confirmed openly. THAT’S how real rep works. Not whatever you all delulu is.
Now once again compare to The S‑Classes That I Raised. All those “suspicious moments”? EVERY ONE reads perfectly as deep loyalty, brotherhood, found family, always open to interpretation. YEARS running… author NEVER confirmed romance/queer feelings. THAT’S NOT REP, that’s textbook queerbait and marketed bromance. Deliberate trick: tease us enough to keep us hooked, keep vague enough for mainstream audience to see only friends.
You guys keep saying “shippers keep fandom alive art, trends, sales!” EXACTLY the problem. This blurry dynamic is built ON PURPOSE: max engagement + profit, never alienate anyone. Win‑win for author’s wallet, huge loss for anyone wanting actual queer respect. Years of silence = crystal clear: meant to be close friends all along, bait from day one.
Simple rule again: in non‑BL works, only REAL gag if: characters say it openly, feelings are written so romantic you CANNOT read it as friendship… OR author confirms it clearly. PERIOD.
Anything else? That’s queerbait, especially when they keep you guessing forever. Its so obvious yet you all call anyone homophobic because you can't tell the difference between actual gay stuff vs headcanon queerbait. Teasing BL fans for cash, keep conservative readers happy too aka win win for the author. Its just show this will never be gay no matter your mental gymnastics is.
Bro we are not here for queer representation. We just want to enjoy a fucking action manhwa. And while we are at it we enjoy SHIPPING FOR A BETTER EXPERIENCE
PLS SHUT THE FUCK UP BECAUSE OF YOU THIS WHOLE FUCKING COMMENT SECTION IS A WAR ZONE ITS RUINING THE MOOD VRO IF YOU DON'T LIKE IT LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE LEAVE
Since Pride Month’s almost over, time to face it, Hyunjae x Yoojin isn’t canon and never was, never will be a gay pairing. Shippers really need to learn the difference between actual canon and just their own headcanons, yet they act like their ship is 100% real and undeniable. And Then they go and call anti‑shippers homophobic just ‘cause we say what’s true, that this whole thing’s just queerbaiting done for attention and profit. They keep saying shippers keep the fandom relevant, yeah right… it’s nothing more than straight‑coded bromance played up for views. Sorry but your ship isn’t gay content at all, and calling people bigots just ‘cause they use basic common sense? That’s wild.
This isn’t one of those non BL stories that actually has confirmed gay characters, it never was meant to be.
Not being officially written as such means, can be seen as friendship, no author confirmation for yead is NOT representation, simple as that. Also, vague hints don’t equal good rep… they’re just cheap queerbait to make money.
We really gotta stop letting Hyunjae x Yoojin shippers and shippers in general gaslight us into thinking their whole thing is “just harmless fun” and never hurts the gay community. I wouldn’t even care that much if not for how loud and aggressive they get, cause their behavior doesn’t stay with just them. It feeds straight into bad stereotypes and ends up bringing unnecessary hate toward the whole community.
First off they regularly harass and attack creators just cause the story doesn’t match whatever headcanon they made up. Famous writers like Horikoshi from MHA, the author of Gachiakuta, and loads more have all gotten hate and pressure exactly for that. And when people simply call out their delusions or tell them to just go support actual confirmed gay stories instead? They tell us to go d!3, lash out hard, treat anyone who sees differently like an enemy. This isn’t just one small group in one fandom, it’s the same pattern over and over everywhere. Honestly it’s ironic how their own toxic behavior proves exactly what we keep saying: shipping like this is never just innocent fun like they claim.
They act entitled, pushy and hostile, so when they get called out or face backlash? That’s fully earned. The unfair part is outsiders see all that mess and wrongly lump it together, thinking this is how gay people act. They paint the whole queer community with the same ugly brush just cause of one loud, problematic minority. This shipping culture is honestly one of the most damaging things we deal with. It sidelines and disrespects real proper representation just to feed delusions, strengthens unfair stereotypes, and drags our whole name through the mud for absolutely nothing.
Also quit throwing that “but you like problematic BL” line at me, that’s literally not the point at all. At least those stories are actually BL from the start, not just vague queerbait. Plus we don’t go around harassing the authors or flipping out aggressively just because someone says “hey that’s just your headcanon, you’re delusional” unlike how you guys act exactly like the toxic mess I just explained. Big difference.

I love the title. Could already tell it's peakk
