So yeah since s1 it's obvious that Nanjo, to some degree, whether he wants to or not, has warmed up to Mokyeon.
So I don't know where this sorta popular impression that "Nanjo genuinely does not fuck with Mokyeon, never has, and never will" came from, because he clearly warmed up to him after their date night. They started texting casually (he most likely didn't do that with Sunhwa) Even after Mokyeon almost killed Sunhwa during that BDSM stuff later on, nanjo was still willing to kiss mokyeon in the season finale, before they got cockblocked.
The reason they fought for months was because Mokyeon crossed the line, not simply because Nanjo hated him like he used to.
He warmed up to him and to some degree, clearly attracted to him. It's just that whatever he's feeling right now isn't comparable to Mokyeon's (unhealthy) affection and obsession.
As for how the chapter ends, idk 100% what Nanjo’s gonna do, but I’m confident he’s not going to beat the shit out of him again, especially not after he tried to force him to go to the doctor and offered to pay the bills lmao.

So, once again im convinced that they genuinely need a separation, a break up or some time apart in their relationship.
Like, it genuinely took a temporary long distance relationship for Heejae to finally think about Garam and only him, the one who is his present and hopefully future, for once, for the first time after 5 seasons and 162 chapters, and mind you, after years of exclusive relationship, instead of projecting another delusion about his ex manager. I know many people dgaf about the Sunhwa arc here (it’s not like I’m invested either tbh), but I can’t help but wonder if Sunhwa is gonna feel betrayed if he finds out Mokyeon and Nanjo are in contact, not because he loves Mokyeon in romantic way or is mad that his sugar daddy moved on but like he’s clearly affected by the whole thing. He quit his job and became a bum who did nothing but play online games in his tiny house because of his friendship break up with mokyeon. I don't think nanjo contacted him ever again after that meeting with mokyeon tbh, unlike mokyeon who kept showing up to Nanjo's office and penthouse, I believe Nanjo got more class and sense so he can't be the reason of his unemployment era.
