DAWG, this author just likes drawing emotion a lot!! Like if you read Meshinuma or her other works, it always looks like there's smth sexual going on even when there isn't just based on the facial expressions alone. It's fun to see people get worked up over it though since even irl, I feel like people's emotions are complicated. If you blush with somebody, it can be just a physiological response. Like for example, when I get really worked up and mad about something, my ears and neck become a deep red since I have a slightly deeper complexion compared to my profile pic. It's not cuz I was crushing on the guys that I was arguing with, it was just cuz I was embarassed I didn't know how to refute it very well. Lol, and I never got shipped with my actual crushes but people I just casually 'flirt' with since I am clingy and have attention-seeking behavior. Some people realize that they aren't special once they start hanging out with me and then become used to it tho.
