I have come to the conclusion that people who don't like the duke and Varia's love story are:
A) teenagers
B) people who only read the same genre and the same plot
I'm so tired of comments like " I want the duke for myself" or "in other stories it's not like this". Come on, touch some grass and open a book. This is what happens when the only thing you read are romance manhwa.
Make me forget my degree in quantum physics I beg you, because now all I can hear is bullshit. Maybe the author should have given a more metaphysical explaination instead of trying to combine a bunch of theories that even in real life create confusion and paradoxes.
Also, where did the "future that needs to be prevented" come from? It's your interpretation sir! The oracle literally said "no comment"
Removing all the philosophical parts, it's a way to see the world from a different physical point of view, meaning that instead of using classical Newton physics you can rewrite all the formulas in a new way, usually starting from the Shroedinger's equation. In university what we are taught is way less philosophical and way more practical (lots of algebra, integrals etc...)
For example quantum physics is useful to predict the movements of things extremely small, like electrons, so both in chemistry and in (micro)electronics at a certain point you will have to use quantum formulas.
The concept in movies and books that "if you don't look at it, everything is possible" is kind of true, in a mathematical complicated way that is a bit difficult to explain. Basically when you make measurements on these extremely small particles, you can only measure 1 thing at a time (or more things, but they need to be compatible), so you can only know the position of an electron for example, but not the speed. So we say that the speed could simultaneously be more values at the same time. Then we measure the speed and suddenly the position becomes the problem. It's called Heisenberg's uncertainty principle.
So in a very microscopic way, if we want to look at the philosophical part that comics and literature like to always mention, there are more futures overlapped in a single moment until you measure it ("you look at it").
For example quantum computers are way more powerful than normal computers (in theory) because until you measure their bits, they could be both 0 and 1, so multiple futures at the same time!
BUT it's a stretch to talk about parallel futures or different dimensions. Those can be very high level interpretations with very little ground of truth.
Everything else you see in movies is just speculation, but not much scientific. Truly, it's just a way to rewrite physics so that it can be applied to more complex scenarios than the traditional ones.
The names on the map of this world keep changing and it become difficult to follow the plot. All I remember from the right map is that Chariot is the big empire on the north, while Verier is the nation that connects 3/4 sea countries on the south with the continental part, so those countries are kind of isolated and dependent to Verier.
But it would be so nice to have a stable map that doesn't mess up the names swapping them between countries on the map completely randomly
Yeah, I tried learning Korean for a bit so I can be forgiving when the translation gets messy because there isn’t really a ‘direct translation’ from languages like Korean or Japanese to English, compared to something like Spanish.
But I get where your coming from, if the original scans team picked a name, why can’t we just stick with it (/TДT)/
Let's warn new readers: you know those manhwa were they say that the MC is a fighter but then she can't even pick up a sword? Well.... HERE SHE IS A BADDASS, she is the best fighter of the continent and she isn't even a "knight". One day, halfdown the story, she had to fight and she was like "ok, sure".
No meaningless internal dialogues about "I'm a woman so I can't ever beat a man, fighting petty noble women with words is real fighting" COUGH COUGH you can guess what manhwa I'm talking about.
You want your "strong MC" but keep getting disappointed? Here is the real deal (and as a bonus she is also funny as hell)

I want to see him take a "normal" role, not a psychopath again and again. I love this story, but it's pretty known in the acting field that playing normal characters is more difficult than playing over the top characters, so if they want to show how good he is, they should make him play a chill guy (⌒▽⌒)
Same. I've actually been wishing he'd take one of those slice-of-life or historical dramas that makes people cry.
The different flavor would be refreshing.
