The most unfunny mf you know:

yk how many minors are on here pretty much just consuming smut nonstop?

i read up to chapter 132~ of the novel, and now im even more pissed off because that club scene makes zero sense without context and idk why they decided to move it so early into the story.

so in the novel the story is alot more slowburn and enemies to friends to lovers type pacing. they do not confess to each other directly for a very long time. jooyoon has the habit of forgetting things when he’s drunk and jaekyung takes it as him pretending not to remember their sexual/romantic encounters. their whole romance is sort of based in their conflicting memories and personalities and mixed signals. because the 99% of the story is told from jooyoon’s perspective, we have to listen to him justify why his attraction to jaekyung isnt gay (internalised homophobia is a big theme in this story as well.) i need you to understand how much of an idiot jooyoon is before i explain this club scene, okay?

they go on a trip together following many, many very romantic “friendly hangouts” (jooyoon throws jaekyung a drinking party takes him and proposal ring shopping??) to jaekyung’s hometown. jaekyung has a bad relationship with his father so he gets really vulnerable and attaches himself to jooyoon alot during the trip. at this stage jooyoon believes jaekyung is a closeted bisexual and at one point, he teases him about them potentially dating (not knowing he is also whipped for him) jaekyung completely shuts down after this and decides to give up on jooyoon and his’ friendship.

he gets back at jooyoon by pretending to date sanna (brown-haired girl) and ghosting him on socials. during this period, jooyoon starts stalking jaekyung on socials with a burner account and pretty much yearns and goons (literally jerks off with a cast of jaekyung’s hand he made) putting himself in the cuckchair of jaekyungs social life. he sees jaekyung post alot of pictures of this guy name han jungwoo, who is also bisexual and just comforting to be around after he’s had the worst situationship of his life with his “straight” friend (#bisexualproblems).

anyway, throughout all this jooyoon’s bubble finally pops and he realises he is atleast sexually attracted to jaekyung, and eventually comes to accept his feelings for him. he gets extremely jealous and calls his sister to give him a makeover so he can pull up to jaekyung at the club and prove how much hotter he is than the other dude or whatever. that is when this whole club scene occurs.

i think genuinely the only reason they pulled it forward so much in the manhwa is because they wanted more frequent smut so engagement would be higher, but it really throws off the entire plot and romantic development. at this stage, it is extremely out of character for jooyoon to act this way.

i hope that clarifies any confusion anyone mightve had about the pacing of this story. read the novel! its really good if you like the concept of this story.

can we stop talking about who takes it up the ass and start talking about the storyline again? jesus

novel reader here, i’m so extremely confused. this scene just doesnt exist, and also doesnt make sense… the whole premise is that jooyoon doesnt remember things when he’s drunk and thats why jaekyung hates him? is jooyoon currently sober? what are they doing with this manhwa adaptation???

i dont understand how some ppl will read the first 40 chapters where you’re living in jun’s brain and witnessing the most unreliable narration of his fucked up moral compass and behaviour, will witness yohan’s bullying and violence and internalised homophobia, and expect this story to magically become wholesome after the way the last season ended. hello? have we been reading the same manhwa? this is an overly dramatised mentally ill teenager’s recount of an abusive relationship and mfs will be in this comment section like “i dont like how jun doesnt have a back bone! why doesnt he just stand up to his abuser!” baby, this isnt heesu in class 2.

this manga is so fucking genius. the concept of mob earnestly trying to set these two up so hatano doesnt keep pursuing him whilst actively setting himself up to be pursued by ssr. i prefer reading this to actual BL but i am a mob x hatano truther, i’m playing the long game

i usually find new things to read by scrolling through the latest update page of this website, but recently i feel like ive been sifting through grains of sand for hours to find one slightly good or above average manhwa. korean manhwa oftentimes isnt that high quality because of the sheer output that publishing companies shit out, but nowadays i fe......

the last photo where he’s just too small to even catch the police officer’s expression. every detail of this manhwa is painstakingly captured by the author.

i hate the way official translators add genz slang into their releases. why did i just read the word “mog” spoken by a character in a story that is based on a time era 200-300 years ago? like talk about immersion breaking. also i agree with the person who said yeonjo shouldve just killed heeryang after sleeping with him. not rly a “role reversal” if heeryang doesnt suffer any of the internal conflict that yeonjo did, given that he supposedly didnt even like his father that much in these episodes.

i want to amount to something. i want to say something new. i want to change the world. everything feels oversaturated. i feel like i’m not good enough at anything to make a difference. i want to be the best in my field and i try so hard to do everything i can to accelerate my growth and stay true to my self and yet i’m stunlocked. i take care ......

i wonder who this type of story is made for. the ML is so unlikeable right out the gate that you’re rooting for him to get put in his place but the story doesn’t allow the reader that satisfaction. i personally wouldnt mind if the ML stayed a shitty person for a bit IF the mc didnt die chapter one in a way that only makes you feel horrible for him. the replacement ghost is another “learning to be human uwu” type character and (unless the author commits to making the ML suffer) their dynamic does not play off nicely. its like reading sexy ragebait. i wouldve loved to explore more about mc and ml’s toxic dynamic, i wouldve loved to see what happened in mc’s life after he committed to standing up for himself. instead we get to see this dickhead fuck a weird cat-boy ghost mimic thing whilst speaking ill of his dead friend who he lived off of in exchange for one-sided intimacy. maybe im being too harsh, its only 4 chapters so far so who knows, but i HIGHLY doubt mc is ever coming back.

no, u just answered ur own question. “ive been reading this shit everyday since i was like 11” 11 is NUTS. i started when i was 14 and even then i regret pushing myself into such an explicit genre while i was developing. you should not be reading adult content at such a young age. this is a reality that like 99% of BL readers need to wake up ......
