I honestly don’t get Heabom, no matter how much I try. I’ve seen this trope in so many yaoi stories where one partner decides, “I want what’s best for them, so I should leave,” especially because they think a same-sex relationship will hold their partner back from a “normal” life.
But how is that love? If you truly care about someone, wouldn’t you at least talk to them first instead of deciding everything on your own?
They’re adults, yet instead of communicating, they jump straight to ghosting or breaking up without explanation. That’s not selfless—it’s just hurtful.
Communication is the bare minimum. PLEASE just talk to each other.
Okay, this story is really unique and cute! However, I personally couldn’t connect with the older sister’s storyline. It’s not just because of the age gap, but also because I’m someone who absolutely cannot multitask .
I usually prefer when the main story or main couple is developed and resolved first, and then the side couples are introduced gradually. When both couples are being pushed into the story at the same time, it starts to feel a bit overwhelming. At some point my brain just goes, “Oh no, not the side couple again! I want to see what the main couple is doing!”
But maybe that’s just me being impatient and wanting the main couple to resolve their misunderstandings ASAP

Guys should I read this? Is it worth it?
Im not gonna lie that's such a hard question to answer cause at first it started off good and interesting but then the characters just started getting so irritating like ugh
I remember I’ve read this before, but season 2 took longer than I thought so I left it to marinate it a bit more so I can reread the whole thing again! Can you please spoil it for me how irritating the characters get? Thank youuuu (●'◡'●)ノ
Ok so since you read till season 2 im pretty sure you remember the gist but like as the story goes on Rishar gets more irritating and possessive and arrogrant all in the name of keeping Etienne safe but at the same time his. Etienne as oblivious as ever sits there and take it he doesn't ask Rishar enough questions even though Rishar is doing a lot of things behind his back just to go to him and act like a puppy who could do no harm. Etienne isn't useless cause he'll do what he knows how to do but he doesn't ask enough questions for him to do anything ultimately making him useless and look like a damsel because he ends up in a bed every time like omg. The empress still acts the same, the king still acts the same, the bodyguard the one with the brown hair obviously has a crush on Etienne, Antoine and him got fake engage but its real engagement on paper, Antoine jumps to conclusion gets mad ignores Etienne then Etienne ends up in a bed misunderstanding clears up and yea. Everything is lowkey confusing but not cause when you understand it it just gets irritating. I hope you understood
tbh i would just wait until its over ( ̄∇ ̄") my blood pressure is up to the roof with this one
Omg thank you so much for explaining all of that!
I found it really boring ngl. Too many unnecessary dialogues. The pacing is super slow. The story has sm potential tho. I feel like the storyboard writer and artist kinda ruined it by how they portrayed the story and characters.
But don't take what i said at face value as it has a good ratings so probably many ppl found it worth reading. Not me tho i dropped it after chapter 51 something
