This story just raises blood pressure man. I feel terrible for MC who is actually doing so well in fighting back, until he is drugged out of his mind. I keep waiting for a turning point in dialogue, nuances, or approach from the ML but it just gets worse.
MC has nerves of steel to still be sane. I guess the plot armor of a cop background is working extra hard.
Is it awful that I don't even think Taerim is that bad of an ML?

I sped read this, and I'm glad I waited! At first I wasnt to sold on the dynamic, but boyyyy does it work. And that Jaeha guy is a nasty mf.
The Empress is definitely a unique. She can't be categorized generally, but still makes my stomach churn.
The story is good so far, but the art kind of dropped. Still gorg fits, but sides and 3/4ths are flat now. And maybe its bc they're rushing to get to the deadline. Manga/hwa/hua work is no joke! Props to the artists.
