Obviously Habibi is in the right for panicking about two grown ass men having sex in her house. But I was upset about her wanting to keep Haru over Neungso. Like I get that she’s attach to him, but haru literally almost died when Neungso was gone and she knew that. Honestly she could’ve just abandon the both of them, but she tried to just keep Haru. Obviously Haru has every right to be upset because he was basically abandon, even though he was lying to Habibi about his true identity. Anyways, love the mix feelings and how the author portrayed these series of events.
I always liked this author except for the um…somewhat toxic MLs….But this one is super healthy and super cute! I really like how both characters are buff, super cute, and super sweet to each other and everyone else! The ML is sooo likable, respecting the elders as the head villager (๑•ㅂ•)و✧I also love that there’s a kid without the omegaverse and a cute baldy at that!!
Guys I’m so sorry, I’m such a sucker for character development. Like I wish more BLs was like this instead of the, shit I fucked up so imma force myself on them and see what happens. Like I’ve seen character development, but this one hits a lot more? I mean, he isn’t doing a lot different than other toxic ML character development, but his character is just so likable? Like I don’t think he’s hot so I’ll root for him, I just feel some sort of way with how the characters are portrayed and developed. Idk if anyone agrees with me and has a more logical explanation, I would love to hear it.

Its because the author intentionally uses psychology to sympathise and humanise his character despite how horrendous he is. Its a common tactic but the author consistently tries to rationalise his actions and thoughts in a way that seems plausible to readers.
I think this is why this story gives such sadness. Like I don't want to somewhat enjoy it because it's super fucked up what's happening to Euihyun. He's scared, he's trapped, he's alone and all he had is his humanized (likable to readers) abuser. Us readers don't want Euihyun to feel lonely etc but know how shitty situation he is in.
Maybe for now, he can keep his most likely unborn child and have companion ship with them, then get mentally and emotionally stable and move on.
Maybe he can go to his kind neighbor!

The Emperor is shitty too but the Empress is straight up foul, she forced the marriage on him by using the Emperor at the time even when he said no and that he already had a lover, so obviously he would ignore her. Then she drugged, raped and bore his child by raping him. Imagine how traumatized he'd be. I hate him but I can't help but feel bad for him. He wouldn't be as shitty as he is now if it weren't for the Empress either. I can't see him genuinely caring for mc, at least for now. But I do hope we can see him feel remorseful or regret, and pay for the way he treated mc and neglected him.

From my knowledge, the MC brother probably fell in love with the ML's father. Thus, becoming transgender for him. I think. The ML and his brother, hates their dad for being aware of this yet still throwing away the MC's brother, maybe they loved each other at some point. The ML's father paid for the MC's parents funeral.
