Probably an unpopular opinion but I’m personally kinda bummed his parents are alive. His whole family is alive and unlocked broken ass abilities and each led their own groups they protected. I think them all having their own groups is a cool concept itself, it shows they really are family and share a leadership type trait, but it’s just extremely plot armor coded. I’ve never had a problem with this so far it’s such a great read, but at this pace I’m not even interested in them saving his grandma cause we all know in the end she’s gonna wake up and be all fine and dandy.
True but I'm happy that a family is complete in this kind of genre, normally all or most of the MC's family is dead. It's nice to see this change once in a while.
