I was surprised that this story didn't have heavy censorship like the others... Its annoying when I see flowers or strawberries covering their privates, lips, and nipples. But I guess I haven't seen any kiss scene yet. So maybe this is very vanilla?

From what I read online, some people said he's a terrible husband and father or even terrible grandfather. One of the reasons is how he treated his son and grandson terribly.
I think somebody said that he didn't support his son financially and his son being the son of a sea god had to earn his way of living and tang san never gave him any fatherly love to his son or grandson.
but in the donghua he seem like a good person like he loved his father and mother even though his father left him when he was 6 years old. He is a reliable companion to his friends. He would sacrifice his cultivation for his Xiao Wu. He is a good leader and had a lot of responsibilities. But aside from that image, is that one of the reasons he neglected to being a good husband or father?
The art is beautiful but the kiss scenes are all censored. Does shounen ai not include kiss scenes or just Chinese manhua is heavy on censoring kiss scenes.
It isn't because of the shounen ai it's because it's a damn Chinese manhua. From what I heard they are really strict about that...
Since a few years ago they also are forced to censor even kissing scenes in BL manhua. All because of the Chinese government being anti lgbtq+

What's confusing me is that they are so strict with kissing in manhuas and barely if not even at all flirting in animations but I've seen clips of the live-action one and I see him pretty much flirting with Lan Zhan clear as day.... ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
The prince and Chen yu is really toxic. The prince just kept playing around and disregards Chen yu and treats him so badly. I feel bad for Chen yu and all he hope was to be happy and take care of his mother. Wether Chen yu goes back to the prince or stay with the emperor, he won't be happy because the consorts from both men are trouble.

Isn't there a mistake with Ch20? The dialogue with candy and yunjae seems wrong. Candy should be asking about hajun's ideal not yunjae since candy is sleeping with hajun. Why would candy need to know yunjae's ideal and the next chapter would refer back to hajun. I mean it only makes sense that candy asking info from yunjae about hajun.
i’m thinking that candy is trying to discern the true relationship between yunjae and hajun. maybe by learning abt yunjae’s type, candy can find out whether or not he and hajun had a thing in the past. i might be reaching, but that’s what i understood from that part.
