imo i think that initially it was gego (like when and if they started dating and their first few times) and then when geto was gonna d*e (like, near his end, i feel he kinda prepared it in his head that it's not long he's gonna live and the only life left is by the graces of gojo not being able to k-word him) so during the end, it became goge...bc geto js let him be on top. it didn't help that gojo was yearnerboy. so like, by the end of it, it was js sad making love only. where both intertwine into e/o's bodies, trying not to cry themselves bc of their cruel fate, and the only time they can say something from deep within their hearts or even "i love you"s in disguise of making love. why do i keep making myself sad? Ya'lllll, I've been reading Yaoi and Shounen Ai for over a centuary, and I think I caught onto something that kinda makes me sad...
Where I live theres this horrible stereotype that Asian men aren't great lovers (SUCH BS HONESTLY) but I've seen so many beautiful and manly Asians I- ⁄(⁄ ⁄·⁄ω⁄·⁄ ⁄)⁄
But repeatedly, and I mean over and over again I find that in Yaoi with foreigners and asians...there's this misconception that the foreigner (usually American) is bigger, more beautiful, and manlier. MANLIER!? How the heck is a whole race of man manlier than another!?! And ALWAYS THE TOP. ┑(￣Д ￣)┍ Don't get me wrong, I know Japanese/Korean men are beautiful but give them more credit! There also manly and fine as f**k! So help me, I must have read only 5 mangas where the foreigner is a bottom because every time I feel like these artist aren't giving their own men any merit.
I can't be the only one who has noticed this cliche ... Anyone else think this is just bizaare?

totally agree!! The reason why this (probably) happens is because of the way society treats Asian men in media. They're seen as weaker, more awkward, and emasculated. Films - especially in Hollywood - created this atmosphere around them to make them look undesirable when compared to the White men. This - most likely - affected the way some manga artists and authors view their characters. It's very upsetting but with the increase of Asian representation in the film industry/media overall, people are beginning to overlook this false image and actually seeing Asian men for what they are. ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~

Ya'll ever wish you could draw your own manga's/manhwa's or write your own stories? With your own characters and storyboards...I'm curious.
I personally wish I could draw a BL with a diverse cast, but that might be because I'm an American and am use to more ethnicities.
I personally think up so much BL headslop that I wish I could have some sort of outlet or talent , but my real life responsibilities barely leave me any time to even read them nowadays.

I have multiple ideas about, in my unbiased, humble opinion, solid BL stories. I'd like to make the change I want to see. Too much slop nowadays and too many authors playing it safe with overused tropes, and the stuff I want to read and draw diverts from that. Learning how to draw is the tricky part. I can draw, well enough at that, but drawing an actual manga/manhwa is a different kind of beast skill- and time wise. Storyboards are super fun to make, I have made multiple for the BL story I'm currently working on.
I'd suggest just taking even 10-15 minutes a day to think or work on it. Build up and start small, get the ball rolling. Consistency is key.

I actually have a bunch of stories I’ve started, and some where I only have the character’s names, but I’ve never done anything with them. Someday I’d like to publish them somewhere, but I need to complete at least one of my stories. I’ve also illustrated some of those stories, but I’ve given up on the art side and just want to write.

I do. Well, I create panels now, and then whenever I get free time (which is rare), but more than my own stories, most of the time, I try to rewrite stories that I read here but wasnt satisfied with, lol. More like fan art or DJ, you say.
