I'm not reading it bc I'm sick of overly expressive characters to the point that it feels like I'm a toddler who can't yet recognize emotions and expressions unless its over exaggerated. to me, it diminishes the story and makes it unbearable to actually enjoy as anything other than a fool being ridiculous to entertain the court

this story is stupid and a waste of good art, but after reading the comments admonishing the fact that they're step-siblings and saying that they grew up together so they should only have a family relationship, i just had to say something as someone who has step-siblings
they didn't actually grow up together, they were already both, or at least the ml was already a teenager who grew up without her
i also got step siblings in my teens (i was 15, my full brother was 17, my step siblings were 9, 13 and 14) and i absolutely don't consider them my family at all, eventho we lived together for 4 years. they're just my mom's partner's children and that's all they'll ever be, in fact i don't even call them my step siblings when referring to them, ever.
