It gets wholesome towards the middle of the current episodes but I agree the start was a bit rocky, I liked their development before they randomly started having sex. It's cute now however there's still a lot of sex (although it's a little less impactful now since they've been doing it pretty much every episode since like episode 5 lmao)
This dialogue is torturous for me as I absolutely hate “Babe” as a pet name. An the way it’s ham fisted gives me secondhand embarrassment.
This is just not my kind of comic. No hate to those who like it but I can’t handle the tone switches from cutesy romcom to psychological grooming pedo brother. I certainly don’t think this is written well enough where it transitions smoothly between topics. Most times the abuse from the brother seems as if it’s written just to cause a reaction from the male lead. As if the only reason the author wrote all this trauma for the MC was so the male lead can hear it and protect the love interest. Making the abusive plot meaningless for me.

I kept seeing this so I tried to give it a read and honestly it’s lackluster. This is really just smut and they can’t even get the porn parts right. The sex scenes are dry as it only consists of penetration (not surprising since most of it is rape.) The men involved are flavorless. Even the drama and problematic aspects are so uninteresting. The Mc gets raped by 3 guys and it’s just brushed off. Might as well not even added it at all.
The art is beautiful and the sex scenes are spicy. But this “couple” and their minor conflicts, misunderstandings, and nonsense is getting annoying. I’m on chapter 37!!! They’ve fucked many times. They’ve almost confessed to each other MANY TIMES! And the Uke is still clueless. They’re both so annoyingly clueless. Like are these adults? Or brain damaged 2 year olds? They can’t comprehend anything.
It sucks because they’re cute and wholesome when they’re being loveydovey. But then they turn around and cuck the shit out of this story. The art is good but as of the time I'm commenting the translation and image quality is terrible up to chapter 8.
