Idk, this was really cute, I love the story and feel for the characters but... To me it just feels like their relationship is more friendship then anything else. It would've been nice if the story was longer so we could see it develop into something more ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Uhh MC here reminds me so much of me crushing on a straight girl few years back, and even now I get flashbacks of MY overreaction when I was basically catatonic for an hour out of worry that she might get hurt, even when I knew she was perfectly fine (￣∇￣")

Maybe I'm weird but I only cried at the part where the MC, after being raped and broken by the one who claims to love him, started to speak of everything he did for and lost to that person and their life together and about how that life became one no longer worth trying for and fighting to protect... I just cried because so many loves are destroyed by the people who wanted them so much and, at some point thought they would do anything and everything for the sake of them. Can love ever last? Is it just momentary illusion, the more beautiful the more fragile?
(Of course it is, romantic love can only last so long and if you aren't able to become lifelong friends, true partners and family to eachother in the meantime, you will destroy everything and everything that made you happy will make you regretful. I know that, but I'm not ready to find that shit in a manga!)
I hope the doctor will fall in love again and find someone to be happy with. He's too much of a catch to stay in wild, sad and alone. And the other one got what he deserved! Part of me felt bad and thought it would'ave been fine if he got a chance to say goodbye, but no, he(the sick guy) had every right not to forgive him.
