Okay I know we're doing it for the laughs, but I'm genuinely curious if people actually mean it when they say they want to see Garam dating any of the other characters (Kruger, Compton, Youngjo)? Not the AU kind that we saw with Kruger, but dating in canon.
While I can see Garam and Heejae possible breaking up, I can't quite picture Garam ever dating any of the other characters just because it feels like it will never surmount to how much he has loved Heejae. I do wanna see his single era though ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
Definitely just joking haha. None of the other characters has the intensity & tenacity to push Garam to his level as Heejae does. They’re actually a lots similar in terms of character structure but that’s for another conversation. Their relationship and love for both piano and themselves are way too complex & almost instinct like for them to be with someone else. You can’t break the yang out of yin lol. The balance will be broken.
Well, despite wanting them to eventually fix their relationship, I do want Garam to explore and have more experiences during their much needed separation. (That’s why I want a cold, regretful breakup instead of a mere break or timeout, so there won’t be any cheating)
A casual, one night stand with Crueger (though this would make things way too awkward between them, so thats not happening lmao), old flame Youngjo, or even some new characters wouldnt hurt lmao
The author's note got released today, Igingogi confirms that season 3 will be released after a 4-week hiatus.

I'm sorry but she hates Jingi and Myeongil LMAO. She said she found it difficult to draw the sex scenes because she wasn't getting turned on. I relate to her so bad as a fic writer, but goddamn it hurts when it's the ship your rooting for ╥﹏╥
I'm gonna chalk it up to the stress from her personal life affecting her daydreaming XD
I wished she did a Q/A like for the S1 afterword...I'd especially like to know if this is truly gonna end in poly or not so I can mentally prepare myself. Or even if Jingi is getting a happy ending at all. Just let us know damnit!
And looks like one of her assistants is eagerly waiting for some Heonjae/Myeongil so that's probably what's incoming in S3 (don't think I'll be spending my money on those chapters)
In the meantime I'll be lurking here for the English chapters while we wait out the 4 weeks! Which is still crazy short for a season hiatus tbh...
She had a lot going on her plate, really amazed she was able to push out quality merch with everything going on. One thing about slammer dogs is that the merch always eats!
However, at the risk of sounding toxic, it kinda felt like she really just wanted to get over with season 2 so she can continue the Heonjae/Myeongil plotline, especially when we're jumping to season 3 in 4 weeks when the first season hiatus was almost half a year long. Well, whatever the case may be, I just hope she gets a lot of rest in between. I may have to marinate this when season 3 comes out, turns out I'm NOT actually god's strongest soldier lol
Some writers do use avatars of the opposite gender, Old Xian for instance. But you're right, I don't think Igingogi's gender has ever been confirmed anywhere (or maybe I missed it). I think I just started using she/her after that pigeon video came out. While this may be a bad habit, I personally just default BL writers as women because in my experience, very few men could ever write romance, (especially between men), the way women do. Also the amount of care and discretion that went into depicting Jingi's sexual abuse really reinforced my assumption that Igingogi is a woman.
But thanks for bringing this up really, I'll go back to using gender neutral pronouns moving forward.
Igingogi's a pervert through and through, at least that's the impression i got from their season 1 author's note. Ig they're weren't feeling it this season, probably because of the personal things they were going through as per the note. The season 1 sex scenes were nasty, I wish we'd get them back next season
omg @anomarcaly tell me you already read the latest chapter, I need some emotional support right now ╥﹏╥
Oh I sure did!
Seems like people are speculating that the last scene shows Jingi's determination to die alone, but I'm optimistically (delusionally) interpreting it as Jingi memorizing Myeongil's address and destroying the evidence so it's not discovered in another search. Either way, still a sad moment because it shows their time together is ending soon :( Also Myeongil making another weasel figurine so Jingi's wolf wouldn't be lonely... ( T﹏T )
That's also what I think, especially since there's been a search recently. But I maybe it's also his way of making sure he never loses something that was from myeongil, cause he kept on mentioning how Heonjae took everything when he switched cells/left. I just think it's lovely how he used to eat foreign objects in an attempt to end his life, and now he's eating the paper given by the person who ever encouraged him to live.
I got a feeling Myeongil's gonna take the wolf figurine and leave the weasel behind for Jingi! (I just wann see Honjae crash out when he sees Myeongil having Jingi's wolf when he purposely left it behind lmao)
Holy shit good call on the attempted suicide connection! Damn that's poetic -- similar to the way Heonjae associates his scar with Myeongil when he used to be the one to cut people. Though something about Jingi eating the note just reads way more intimate... like you're right he probably thinks it's the only piece of Myeongil he'll have left before he leaves and he doesn't want to risk having it confiscated from him so he makes it a part of him instead. He could've easily dispose of it several different ways (like tearing it up and flushing it) but intentionally chose to swallow it down whole.

Did anyone else see Willem Dafoe's recent photoshoot? I feel like heejae could do that if he tried hard enough. Wish someone would darw him like that lol
