Everything is starting to make more sense now, now we know who is who, because that was making everything more confusing. If I am understanding correctly the Master wants to do the ritual again and that is why he bound their souls, but surely if that happens the MC will doom himself because the Master only wants the half dead Muni, so he’ll be half dead and merged with the snake never to be reborn again I take it. So it is not a matter of breaking the curse by the master's love as they have been making it out to be to the MC. So if that is correct, that means the Sharman wants MC to sacrifice themselves to free the Sharman of the curse their ancestor created. I just don't see how completing the ritual is of any benefit to MC, maybe it will make his soul whole again but he'll be forever bound to the snake. MC doesn’t even have full control over his body. Mc is up against everyone, i don't know how he is going to come out of this.
‘’Fleeting feelings like love will eventually fade’’ SO he is telling us he doesn’t love his wife and settled for her because he had ‘’the shape of a family’’ with her. And now he is enforcing that misery on his children and at the same time claiming he doesn’t want his son to be unhappy. And what right does he have to demand grandchildren, even if his son has a heterosexual relationship, it still doesn’t give him the right to expect his children to give him grandchildren. Is he going to pay for them and raise them, I think not! So selfish!
Seeing Muni in the past he is just like the snake is now. Seeing the shadow watching the master in the bedroom in the past life, now makes me understand that the elevator shadow must be a replay of that. The snake boss is taking on the personality of the master rather than the boss because that is what Muni remembers. It now makes sense why he kept hiding from the elevator shadow - this is what the master did with Muni. I found that confusing, as the snake said they were one who created the snake boss, so why would he hide, but it's because snake boss is playing the character of the past life Master. So the extra master from the last episode must have come forward from within the boss then i am guessing.
You know I am actually surprised by the comments, I actually found the seme of the first story loyal where the uke is not. The uke has cheating trauma but he always flirting about with others even if it’s in a provocative way, like in another story he was drunk flirting with one of the co-workers and they were about to kiss when the seme walked in, and even in this story he should not have gone to the ex’s bar that night. The uke likes making the seme jealous and the seme counters it beautifully by his attitude to make sure a line is drawn. I would not feel safe in a relationship with the uke but I would with the seme.
I understand the back story but what is confusing me is the present, mainly because there are too many versions of the MC and ML that I am getting confused. So what am I gathering so far, and please can someone who understands who is who please confirm, I will be super grateful:
MC:
1. Snake MC that loves ML – this one is the shadow/scribble and possesses the Sharman and the other office worker that ended up in hospital
2. Present day human MC who doesn’t have a clue what is going on and feels nothing toward ML
3. Inside MC is the past MC who hates ML for how he treated him.
Are there any more MC’s I am missing because sometimes the MC is blushing at the ML so I wonder if there is another one as well?
ML:
1. Snake ML with yellow eyes. What confuses me here is the yellow eyes ML and the shadow snake act like two different entities, but it said they are the same one, and the snake created him after finding out the MC is the real reincarnation. So why did yellow eyes hide from the elevator shadow at the beginning if they are the same entity?
2. Present day human ML who doesn’t have a clue what is going on like MC, but he does have an attraction towards the MC so that is why the snake stepped in to stop their relationship before the snake learnt that MC is the real reincarnation.
3. Now there is this new ML who it seems is the past ML that fell in love with the dying MC? Is he within the ML, like the one who hates ML is in MC?
Am I on the right track? I think if I can get my head around who is who I will able to understand better.
Take what I said for a grain of salt but the shaman explained this already, or Muni ( past live MC) aldeady. There are two Muni, our MC (Giyun) and the soul.
Essentially, our MC was born without a soul. This sounds confusing but technically, when Muni almost died in the pit and the ML in the past organised that ritual where they tried to revive Muni, the soul and the body seperated and the body was left as a husk while the soul wanders aimlessly. I guess he felt wronged and when he saw the reincarnation of the young master (ML) Muni was enraged seeing how he could move in (?).
But Muni still needed energy to control things, like maintaining a body. So, he saw Jumin (the guy who was obsessed with Yitae) and created this orchestration where using Jumin, lived out the live he never could. That way, Muni lived through Jumin, who recieved Yitae’s love. But here’s the problem, like the Shaman said, Yitae and Giyun are soulmates, but Muni thought Jumin was himself (I might be wrong here, but be possibly thinks he is the reincarnated version of himself) and controlled Yitae to love only him. The bookmark was the talisman that anchored Muni’s soul.
About the different versions of the ML, I believe Muni created the one who is like a snake, but the actual soul of the young master is there as well. That one soul who knew he was controlled by Muni.
Maybe, Muni harboured so much resentment that even the shaman from the past knew some lingering karma will return. That was why she comes through Giyun’s dream, also, the shamn gave him a talisman to protect his body from a vengeful soul taking it.
That’s all I gathered so far. The horror aspect is very interesting, let’s see how this goes.
Do we find out who that Dad is? I see he ends up with Martin (i think that is the right name) because i had a nosy and there are scenes with them together even at the end, but i can't tell who the Dad is? It seems implied its Martin but he said he was staying beside him regardless who the Dad is, so that doesn't tell us anything other than he wasn't lying.
I have a memory of a new volume where they are in a fully established relationship living together, I think they move to a new area maybe and find a new café for the ice cream. The owner of the café fancies the uke and they get close making the seme jealous but they talk it out and he finds out them getting close was innocent. I can’t remember details, just that. But I looked it up and there are only 2 volumes, and the story is the second volume they are not that far into the relationship, so does anyone else remember this volume I’m describing because I don’t see it? I feel weird that I cannot see anything about this, not just on here but I searched online as well and it says only 2 volumes, the first being 6.5 chapters so I presume the other chapters are volume 2???(⊙…⊙ )
Yea it is only 2 vols for Gelateria Supernova with sequel being Gelateria Supernova Royal Vanilla but like you said both are here, this is vol 1 and 2 we are reading. Here is a list of the author/artists works and it does only show 2. I was interested in your info but I did more searching and come up blank tho.

I don’t like that that Lasil woman didn’t get any consequences for her actions, I don’t mean anything serious but she got out of that clean, especially with them passing it off as psychological – no it’s the hole in his chest! She was intentionally causing trouble before the fight broke out, and I believe she really did intent to hurt Kassan with that arrow because it was too close to the heart, as the brother wanted an audience first she had time to shoot the arrow anywhere on the body and she chose right next to his heart. It's not like the heart caused instant death because he fell back and held onto Kassans hair, that could have been achieved with other parts of the body too, so she did have a choice. She clearly intended harm to Kassan or at least didn’t care if he got killed in the process, because it is only after Igen’s reaction did she change her tune.
