You know how sometimes, you just want to take a break from all the angst and drama, and simply indulge yourself to a consensual, sincere and sweet romance? I happened to be in the mood and remembered about this manga so I reread it, and I immediately felt so loved. Ahh, it's such a nice feeling when the seme respects and treasures his uke a lot. (づ￣ ³￣)づ

I really liked how Ryuunosuke-san (Pres) teased Manaya a lot, but still respected his space. He was gentle, kind, and devoted... Even Manaya, who had lots of preservation couldn't help but fall for his charm. It was good that Manaya decided to give their love a chance before many more drama ensued. They're so perfect for each other..

I also liked how adorable the second couple were, but I wish there were more... Like, how Shirou was during the 11-year separation. I mean, it was cute how he declared his love for Hikaru immediately after reuniting with him, but like Hikaru, I thought about "Aren't you mistaking your feelings for what you felt 11 years ago? Many years have passed and a lot of things have changed, so how can you sincerely say that you love ME when you don't even know the PRESENT ME?" But oh well, just like how Hikaru, who didn't see him that way fell for him during the days they spent together, Shirou, too, would've fallen for the present Hikaru.

Ahhh the feels of this manga... ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ

Anyway, I have mixed feelings about this manga because I feel like we were off to a good start, where they were both confused and struggling with their feelings, but just when they finally came into terms with it, we're left with a mostly open-ended conclusion. I wish there were more chapters about them living together and slowly acting upon their feelings more. If you know what I mean. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

I'm interested to see if they will train two batteries instead 'coz there's a foreshadowing of the "popular/aces" Furuya x Yui and the "underdogs/dark horses" Sawamura x Koushuu. I think it's good to see two different catchers who'd understand their pitchers the most.

Hmm also, regarding their loss, it's safe to say that it's not entirely Furuya's fault.I mean, they are a team so it's not just the pitcher's job to finish the game. After all, as someone previously said, no matter how good their pitcher/defense is, if their batters/offense cannot score runs, they won't win. However, Furuya's selfish desire to pitch better than he did in the Senbatsu disrupted their game and because of his errors, the lead has gotten bigger.. They should've subbed him after the couple consecutive runs before he allowed 5 in one inning, so that's also the fault of Boss.

I understand that he decided to let Furuya grow through the game, because he was touched by Furuya's determination to be the best pitcher that will help his team be the best in Japan as well. Ironic, huh? Wasn't it just a few months back when Coach Ochiai asked if he'd rather choose to go with the pitcher's pride or choose what's best for the team to win and he answered the latter? He also said before that he wouldn't sacrifice the team for Furuya's growth alone. It must've really hurt for Sawamura to have him apologize after saving the team because when it was him who appealed before, he wasn't allowed to stay in the mound despite his good performance and determination.

Oh well , I just want them to go on more matches stronger than ever. Oh, and I wish they appreciate Sawamura better now instead of always dissing and underestimating him.

I was beyond myself in rage when I first finished the latest chapters to the point where I just want to literally flip the table. (╯°Д °)╯╧╧ I mean, did you see her face when she realized Shirotani wanted to avoid her? (Chapter 34, page 10) I just wanted to pull her hair and take Shirotani away (with Kurose, of course)!（/TДT)/

I know... Her re-appearance could be a step for Kurose to help Shirotani get over the cause of his trauma, but why did it have to happen so soon? Just when we finally see Shirotani take the initiative to ask him out.. >_< I hope Kurose quickly realizes the situation and protect Shirotani from that woman (and please, do not, even in the slightest second, be nice enough to let her flirt or else).

Can't help but feel better since I read this after "Fukurou kun to Kare." I mean, in a way, Kamijou and Shiratori were similar (I mean with their promiscuity as baseball superstars & cheating on their partner..), but our uke Miya-chan is better than Fukurou in a way that he's more assertive and independent.

I liked how he eventually took the initiative to come to Kamijou's apartment since it was apparent that he's trying to evade the inevitable break up. I also liked how he told Takuma to hold off until he truly ends it with Kamijou. In a way, he still showed Kamijou & their relationship some respect.

If anything, I wanted to see the break up scene longer, like the two of them talking more about how their relationship became that way, so they could just clear their minds off each other. Also, I wanted to see Miya-chan and Takuma interact more since they fell in love quite too fast (Or, I mean, I wanted to know Miya-chan's thoughts since he was always saying how the only thought of him as a friend, then suddenly saying he's actually in love with him too).

They're such a cute pair though... And they're both really appealing. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

Haha. Anyway, I was just rereading when I noticed. XD

Errr... I didn't feel the love as much as I thought I would.. I liked the uke at first, because he was so cute being a hopeless romantic and flashy, but his personality changed completely after the kiss. I wasn't a fan of Kirihara either. Really, I'd understand that "he had the freedom to fool around because he's oh-so-perfect" and that girls were willing, but kissing his ex girlfriend to confirm if she's still in love with her bf? Wow, that was lame. That's still cheating. He shouldn't have agreed since he knew she had a bf. And what's with he's never fallen in love before, when it was implied that he actually got serious on Asami (though their relationship and breakup wasn't discussed further)? I mean, sure, it's nice to hear from someone you like that "This is the first time I fell in love so blahblahblah..." But... I don't know. I just didn't feel his love. I saw his interest and curiosity, but not really his sincerity.


ps. I personally liked Tetsuya's appearance than the popular Kirihara-kun's. Oh well, I just really prefer a megane-kun. ლ(´ڡ`ლ)

It really happened now!!! Saki's sob story/tragic past made Kazuki feel guilty and responsible. He thinks he can save both Saki (from ruining/ending her life) and Choko (from being extremely harassed by Saki) by choosing to be with Saki, but is that really for the best?

I just hope that he learns his lesson from this decision. If Choko finds another guy, I hope Kazuki would truly regret and repent, or be a man and stick with his decision by not bothering her ever again.

Ahhhhh... I can't wait to see how this story will continue.

Am I supposed to believe Takao really loves Yoshinaga when he acts like that? I mean, how can he say he loves him when he takes initiative (and is very enthusiastic that he even cheats in his dream's dream) in cheating with women (w/ big tits)? I get that he's originally straight and it isn't easy to get over it, but he should at least make more effort, since he claims he loves Yoshi and can't stand it when he's mad/ignoring him..

Well, I can't confirm Yoshi's love for Takao either, since he practically forced himself on Takao in the beginning. Does forgiving his affairs guarantee his love?

I'd say I won't settle for a relationship like that IRL, but with their personality, I guess they're a match, because they complement each other (though I'm still unsure of Takao's redeeming qualities). I just wish Takao appreciates Yoshi more, especially after he realized that he'd be so hurt if Yoshi would be the one to cheat on him.

The second story was interesting, too, but I didn't get much (and it was confusing at first; the dialogues seemed off or random, at least to me). I wish it was shown why or since when the wandering cousin liked him, or how they'd continue their relationship after they crossed the line.

I hope she tells him about it soon, or else, she'll end up compromising with Hasebe, because he might blackmail her with it once he saw how it bothers her enough to turn Arima's confession down.
