Many comments argue that Sahee was foolish to choose love instead of studying abroad. However, I believe that people can be correct from different perspectives. Strength in women does not exist in only one form. Sahee’s life had been filled with hardship and emotional suffering, yet she chose to rise from that experience, learn to value herself, and embrace love with someone who is willing to support and stand beside her. This choice should not automatically be interpreted as a lack of self respect or independence. Considering her low self esteem and difficult past, choosing a relationship that provides emotional stability and encouragement may actually represent personal growth and healing. In many discussions about women’s empowerment, society often imposes rigid expectations, suggesting that women must follow certain paths in order to be considered strong or independent. However, genuine empowerment lies in a woman’s ability to make her own choices freely. The essence of empowerment is not forcing a single ideal of success but allowing women the autonomy to decide what brings them fulfillment.Personally, if I were in Sahee’s position, I would most likely choose studying abroad. This decision would not stem solely from ideas of independence or self respect, but from my genuine love for learning. Studying gives me immense joy, and if possible, I would happily dedicate most of my life to it. Nevertheless, my personal preference cannot be imposed on others. Every individual carries different experiences, traumas, and aspirations that shape their decisions in life.
Therefore, rather than judging Sahee’s choice, it is more meaningful to acknowledge that different women will pursue different paths. What truly matters is that women are given the opportunity to decide for themselves, instead of having those decisions dictated by societal expectations or external pressures. Ultimately, true empowerment lies in the freedom to choose one’s own life.( This is just my opinion, if you don't agree that's perfectly alright, i will respect your opinion nonetheless)
No problem with femdom or whatever. But in the name of power and dominance doing toxic things to people will never appeal to me. If the gender is reversed, this will look like pure mental abuse.. don't understand what people feel by giving pain and suffering to others. ( Before you start yapping that go and watch vanilla shyt , I'm not opposing the Idea of dark romance or whatever.... Nor , stopping you from enjoying it, but it's my personal opinion , i personally don't align with this type of thing, i don't even enjoy it reading. I was genuinely looking for strong female lead typa story... But this is going to that sexual abuse stuffs which are not my cup of tea.).
Period! I bet this whole comment section would look completely different if a woman replaced Yeon-woo. In other stories where the FL is abused or manipulated by the ML, you rarely see people condoning it, shutting their brains off, or telling others who call it out to ‘just drop it.’ The double standard with this story is honestly off the charts Lol
Regardless gender, intention and circumstances forcing oneself on someone is pathetic and doesn't look cool at all. In fact it's traumatizing..Femdom or whatever i seriously feel bad when authors/ mangaka try to overuse this troop literally in everything. Whether it's a straight story , femdom, yaoi or even yuri....
The manga was great until this arc
It's not necessarily bad per say, but it drags on. It's easier to read through this entire arc once it's complete (I hope). Having to wait for updates does not make this arc better at all.
It's a lot of things that had been brewing behind the scenes and I'll be honest...I don't understand the writing where students get involved in teacher's lives or vice versa. Maybe it's a Japan thing, but where I live, teachers do not involve themselves in a student's life, unless the student is in danger or is misbehaving at school.
The relationship between student and teacher is a bit...fantastical I guess, from my experiences.
Ahhh true, although this is more of an Asian thing I guess? I studied in both western and eastern countries so I can kinda attest, this teacher-student relationship is normal, especially for those in "high-end and low-end schools" I've had a few good relationships with my teachers here in the west but nothing beats how my previous teachers interacted with their students in Asia, it was definitely more personal

It almost seems like that , the first part was written by a ghost writer or something cuz that was the only part I remember well , in the middle it Lost it's route, also lawyer's character was totally wasted. Being anti climatic ending is one thing, but making it totally opposite of the characters, you built so far is whole another thing. Very disappointing NGL.
