I’ve been keeping up with this series for years on and off as each volume and chapter was updated and it hurts to see it go but I loved the experience of reading this story. I love how the most important messages/themes in this manga had nothing to do with ghosts and horrors. I relate to how the MC and ML left like they had to make themselves smaller or take on people’s negative emotions to survive… I hope I can also learn to drop all of shame/misery/fear I carry that’s not mine..

Idk if the MC is in a new/altered universe and has a guide (like Omniscient Reader Viewpoint) or if he just has access to a Wikipedia available to everyone in his universe while in darkness.
Technically yes he got transported into an alternate universe which is DER. His guide is practically his knowledge of DER and the Wikipedia he has on his phone ^^

Just caught up again after stopping when it was 88, so getting to 139 was pretty decent. Curious how much will be out by Jan tho. Might need to wait until Feb or March for a decent amount. I can wait in anticipation (≧∀≦)
Wow this was great, I love how capable so many members of the “Happy Class” were. With set-ups like this, authors tend to make only a few members “smart”

Kana really describes what I love about stories. Finding/seeing the inner voice of the author within the lines of text has always been my attempt at trying to understand humans. They do say that you can find truths within the things people fear or despise.
What if this story is something Sophia made up to cope
What if in another world there was no one to stop Sedona or whatever antagonist from release the “truth” written in that book and Sophia made up another hero. Who knows…
