i dont hate her characterisation in particular, but everything combined reads like such a self insert fantasy lol
I feel like her apathetic nature as well as her not being able to understand why she should help someone without return is a flaw itself. But I totally get what you mean. Still, I prefer this instead of the cliche romance fantasy where the mc is so pressed over changing the storyline. It's not everyday that I finally see a mc with a god complex who puts themself first despite having the power to change something. (▰˘◡˘▰)

why did she break up with yeodan again
iirc, cause they couldn’t meet in the middle. If they have dated earlier, much earlier, it would have been HE for them.
Yeodan is uncomfortable with Yoo Chun-young, also Eun Ji-ho, cause he can tell they both like Dan-i, but mostly Chun-young, cause he feels like there is something special between Chun-young and Dan-i.
If Dan-i stays friends with Chun-young, it puts Yeodan in an uncomfortable position. Dan-i knows if she does like it, Yeodan won’t ask/demand her to cut off with her friends, but this overtime will seriously hurt him, straining their relationship, and they might even end up hating each other. But even so, Dan-i had been through so much with Chun-young (and friends), all the promises she made, she can’t cut them out of her life.
So, they both can’t help but give up this relationship, cause they unable to meet each other in a middle point, which is valid. If they dated before much events happened, before Dan-i truly believes they are friends, before Ji-ho and Chun-young realized they love Dan-i, then Yeodan and Dan-i would have HE.
Right person, right place, wrong time.
oh wtf thats such a sound reason to break up i cant even be angry. yeodan was my ride or die </3
I feel ya, I also love Yeodan so much
