not bad, a bittersweet ending like this suits this story. but i feel like the truth behind the “game” they were stuck in was left too ambiguous when it was a core part of the story
on chapter 9 and the misunderstandings are getting ridiculous… every time the speak, they’re never on the same page and neither of them even ask the other to clarify what they’re talking about. instead, they just get mad at each other and stay confused half the time
i feel like bada’s name meaning “bloodlust” and his design stands out too much to be have originally been an NPC, it lowkey doesn’t add up. i’m not sure whether he was an OG player who was playing before the rest of them or if he’s some kind of hidden mastermind who got stuck in the game or if he’s even the game developer but it feels like the truth is more complicated than we think
this story is alright i guess, i suppose it’s good if you switch your brain off but i’m kind of over stories where one character literally ruins the other’s life and the other just deals with it cuz they’re obsessed with them. like most of the angst is started because jaehan sees heegyeom on a screen, is attracted to him, hates that soft feeling and then decides to ruin his life to the point of swamping in life changing debt. sorry but that makes zero sense, his immaturity causes the people around him to suffer and he barely grows. the seme doesn’t even get revenge back and just deals with it because… he’s absurdly obsessed with him for whatever reason? i’m just a bit too grown for stories like this that aren’t really grounded in sense and have silly characters with silly motivations. i just can’t get behind rooting for the director who beats up people who care about him and then sends his ex wife into a psychiatric hospital for exposing the shit things he’s done to heegyeom. maybe i’m too woke but i can’t behind some rich asshole treating people at a lower socioeconomic level however he feels like just because he can, it’s just gross to me. not saying heegyeom is perfect but honestly i don’t like his character either cuz his head is only filled with love lmao
i’m at chapter 21 and the bottom is so evil, does he get to properly suffer before they get together in the end cuz he really ruined heegyeom’s life for no good reason…
yeah im ngl, i've read the novel and the story takes a turn for a worst after they sleep together (sadly the manhwa author skipped this the scene...) and the novelist makes the ML super manipulative and obsessive all of a sudden
that was just so incredible i don’t even know what to say
i’m at chapter 44, does the seme ever chase after the uke? feels like the uke is constantly begging for his attention, i’m fine with that only if we get a chasing arc from the seme at some point
gosh this is 95% miscommunication for just no good reason, what a headache
ain’t no way they cut out all the sex scenes… the novel’s smut is so spicy as well, the first time they have sex is so intense i can’t believe this…
i’m down for this unexpected sohee and gyeol side pairing honestly, that stalker guy is annoying. his reasoning doesn’t even make sense, why would you follow her home and make her feel creeped out then weirdo…
i’ll be shocked if gyeol has a gf, she hasn’t been shown even once after all this time??? also idk but it feels likes gyeol and sohee might become a second couple, which honestly i’m down for. i think it’s unexpected but cute
honestly i can’t take it anymore, the seme is too much of an asshole and always treats the mc like shit ugh
this comments section baffles me honestly. if you genuinely can’t tell taegu has feelings for yeungwoon, you have very poor media literacy. the author is being purposely subtle about it like a lot of things in this story, still, the way yeungwoon is drawn in panels conveying taegu’s perspective (in the present) is similar to how he’s portrayed in seoin’s perspective and we all know seoin’s infatuated with yeongwoon so let’s put two and two together. in the flashback scenes, it felt less romantic and more like pity but honestly i think it’s weird to develop feelings for a kid you watched grow up and who was reliant on you as a guardian at some point in time. not to mention that yeongwoon literally admitted he knew taegu was a loan shark from day one and purposely acted nice towards him so he wouldn’t beat up him or his dad. their dynamic will forever be weird and tainted to me
this lame ass trope in big 2025? ew, you’ve lost me
sorry but yall need to be fr, that girl calling him a bastard wasn’t cool obviously but sooji as a guy much bigger than her threatening her by saying “i’ll kill you” is just not on the same level at all
i feel like people always shut this idea down for some reason (always saying “they’re just friends!”) but i’ve been thinking for a while that gyeol has had a crush on the mc for a long time. it’s been hinted at too many times to just be a red herring at this point…
