probably because the younger generations we see now are more 'smarter' cough stupid and some are actually smart. The smart + humane ones are extremely rare. When I look for new anime to watch, the first site that comes to my mind is mal and when I find one I somehow automatically just...scroll down and look at the reviews T_T and theres tons of spoilers. This also happens when i watch 5-7 episodes and then i have a sudden urge to know what other people think about it. Now this habit has caused so many problems when I'm thinking about how much I've enjoyed the anime, the reviews come to my mind and I end up thinking I didn't enjoy it. It changes my opinion, my true opinion about the anime.
This is like a drug to me, its bad and I do it again and again.
